I havent seen one of these in awhile...hope its ok to post this LOL.

It is getting to be closer to spring/summer (heck in Florida its pretty much that kinda weather year round). This means we will be going to the beach ALOT!! Id LOVE to see some new beach-themed kits. Im pretty sure I have every single one ever sold at SSD so far LOL. I love Gidget, Tiki-Wiki, Tiki-tiki Bang-bang and He'll Break Your Heart. Love the colors and the elements of all these!! Soooo if anyone could maybe be inspired to do some new beach kits?? Id be eternally grateful!! LOL

maybe add some shells/pretty beachy flowers/surfboards/and some beach themed wordart would be AWESOME!!

(of course if anyone else has something add that too!! Lets give the wonderful designers here some inspiration/ideas!!)
 
I'm planning on doing a cape-codish beach kit in the next couple weeks - with weathered wood... beach signs that sort of thing :D

Can't wait to see what the other designers will have in store, beach kits are so much fun to do!

That sounds awesome!! (and of course I have probably half of what youve put out already so Ill probably snatch that one up)

How about an "I hate the beach/summer" kit? Focus on things like sunburn, excessive heat, sand up wahoos and hoohaas, being bitten by crabs, sunburn, nasty thunderstorms, sunburn, heat, sunburn....did I mention sunburn? Seriously, I can't be the only person not looking forward to summer/beach weather? I need a kit to scrap that.
 
I defenitely hate the sunburns I get but I get them pretty much year round so that kinda kit would work for me too. I really dislike the temps when they go up to almost 100 degrees too. Just part of living here though...

I was recently looking for some good boyish kits with navy blue in them and had a hard time finding any. Like true navy blue.
 
I would love a kit to scrap pictures of Childrens Museums all together. Like exploration, playing, learning. Does it make any sense? We go to Childrens Museums as much as possible and I hate to scrap every activity we do there seperately.

Something to scrap Disney-esque pictures. Not a trip to Disney, but we went to see PlayHouse Disney Live! and my son is in love with all things Disney.

A Clifford the Big Red Dog kit?

History kind of kit. We have pictures visiting the state capitol. So like a politial history kind of thing?


Ok, so mine are kind of general, but if anyone could do them I would love it.
 
I would love to see a sibling kit that focuses on sisters & brothers together... I love the Sibling Rivalry sets, but I'm thinking of something more along the lines of the siblings getting along (I'm hoping mine do!) Thanks :)

Well I might be a little biased, but I think my new kit would be perfect for scrapping a day just hanging out at home. And look... newspaper accents. ;) (and still 20% off for the rest of today. :thumbup: ) Image is linked...


 
I think Trail Mix works perfectly for camping!! I bought it and absolutely love it. I used it for some campfire layouts of my son.

Def. more Disney inspired kits....we are going to Disneyworld in May...YAY!! :)
I will more than likely have a TON of photos to scrap when I get back!
 
I'd like to see some pink camo, and a car-themed kit with girls in mind.

Some reunion wordart (groan...been out of HS 20 yrs!)

I'm a map geek, so I'd love a map-themed kit.

Yeah, I'd love to see this too! I've used the Sibling Rivalry sets to scrap how I bully my younger sibs into taking pix with me (LOL I'm mean yeah) but I'd also love to see a sibling relationship kit where we're getting along. It'd be perfect to scrap with as well (since I'm not mean all the time :p)
 
I don't have any little kiddos of my own anymore (so I scrap my nephews :) ), so I would like to see a kit that focuses on parents (maybe with a vintage feel) so I can scrap my folks, or maybe a couple-themed kit that focuses on just hubby and me. Just a couple possible ideas :)

I would love to see a boys gymnastics-themed kit. Maybe with paper-pieced apparatus? My son just competed in the State Championships last weekend and I need something to scrap those pictures.

We don't have a *real beach* here in Kansas! I'll make the west and east coasters laugh...our *beach* is about 1/2 mile long...you have to PAY to go on it ...it's FENCED on the sides so no one can sneak to the only sandy part of the lake...it does have ONE life guard...and the water is BROWN! ...no shells... just a sunburn waiting to happen. blech

I'm hoping I can take the boys to a *real beach* this summer...we haven't been to one since 2003 when we visited some friends in MI...and the water was SO COLD we couldn't go in! lol

This got me thinking. I am an east coaster, but I live inland. So we go to the lake (there are lots of lakes)
So, someone should go with the brown water. Because not all water is crisp blue. And picnic tables, and pine needles. Because I can't remember ever going to the lake and not having a picnic blanket, or getting pine needles stuck to my feet.
 
I need some dance kits! I have Julie's kit and have used it SOOOO many times but I need some dance variety kits like with specific tap/ballet stuff in it.

I'm totally with ya on this one!!!! especially the heat, YUCK--like one with a thermometor exploding and stuff like that!! :) also I'm still waiting for one that's to scrap scrapbooking and similar hobbies, like my sister and her rubber stamping and I do have freinds that do paper scrapping. thought one was coming but I never saw it!
