I'm tired of being lumpy.

Should workout more. Except I feel drunk every time I try to do Dance Dance Revolution. And look drunk too! I've put on 75 lbs since having Naomi and it sucks! Prior to that I was an aerobics instructor so it sucks even more. And that's really the end of this thought chain. ;)

yep I know what you mean!! Before I got pregnant with my daughter I was a size 0!! I gained over 100 pounds with her. Mostly towards the end I just gained sooo quick. I lost some and had my middle son. Never had a chance to get it all off. I went back down to like 155 and then got pregnant with my youngest. I lost alot after having him and slowly in the last three or four year I went from a size 7 in juniors to a size 10-12 in womens :-( I want to lose like 25 pounds mostly in my midsection!! im defenitely gonna put more effort in doing that in the next six weeks. Hopefully be down at least 15 by May!!

I feel like that but can't do anything about it cuz I'm pregnant (and on light-exercise only restrictions so I don't get pre-eclampsia again!)

I hear ya, see that weightloss ticker in my siggie? It hasn't moved in a month...I am basically keeping it there as a daily reminder of my failure. :p J/K I will get back on my routine! I really want to feel good about my body again.

IKWYM.... I'm on my second round of boot camp at the gym and although everyone else is telling me I look thinner, I still don't see it and the scale doesn't seem to either... :(

I'm right there with you! I still have 12 or so pregnancy pounds to lose, and after that I'll still be 30 lbs heavier than I was pre-kids. (Even then I could have stood to lose some, but now that's my dream weight.) I tell myself it'll be easier when the kids are older and more independent and I'm not always tied to the house for someone's nap, but I wish I could get motivated to do more now.

Right there with ya...I felt a little motivated this week though and am really going to try in the upcoming weeks. My motivation...I watched an old rerun of Reba where Barbara Jean comes back in the first episode of the season REALLY thin. The actress Melissa Peterman looked amazing! It brought back all my memories of being a skinny blonde. :)

Lump sat alone in a buggy marsh, totally motionless except for her heart....

Sorry, I've been listening to the Presidents of the United States of America too much.

can totally relate...I am 50 lbs heavier then pre-kids {1993 was when 1st DD was born}....I am still 20 lbs heavier than when I had DS#1 back in 2001 and since I had the last 2 prett muh back to back (2006 and 2007) I have just had a hard time getting it off...not ime for me to go tot the gym when I am working full time and wiped out once I get home...so being deployed to Kuwait is doing me good beuase I am MAKING time for myself and I hope I got back at least 20 lbs lighte, 30 would be EXCELLENT!

Well I'm right there with you all too...but no sense worrying over something we can't change overnight. But wouldn't that be cool if we could?? LOL

I lost 30lbs. (4 years ago) and 2lbs. away from my goal, found out I was pregnant again. Yah...ask me how happy I was 'bout that! DS (baby #3) was planned, just not so soon after I lost all that weight.

And now here I am...DS just turned 3yrs. and I'm still that 30lbs. heavier. Grrrrr...good thing he's cute and I love him so darned much! :)

Booo to lumps is right! I am so with you Lena! I can't wait till the doc says I can start exercising again because I need some serious help!

I ALWAYS do better and lose weight in the spring, so I'm somewhat motivated right now. Bought three new dresses yesterday and wasn't impressed with the fact that I'll need a shaper to wear them without humiliation in public :p

I'm like a grizzly bear during the winter. Sleep, eat, scrap. ;)

Thanks for commisserating with me girls!

I know hon! I started trying to lose weight and get healthy in January 2007. I did REALLY well and by June I'd lost almost 50 lbs! Still had about 30 to go but was feeling so good. Of course life threw me a bunch of curve balls and I fell off the wagon. I maintained for the longest time, but then about a year ago started gaining again. Before I knew it I'd gained back 30 lbs!! GAH! So, 8 weeks ago I recommitted to a healthy lifestyle and have since lost 20 lbs. I still have about 45 lbs to go til my goal weight, but I'm trying to work on more short term goals so I don't get overwhelmed with the vastness of the task at hand. lol I've been mostly doing WW online and taking Step Aerobics and Zumba classes 5 days a week. Seriously, classes are SO much more fun than trying to do it alone and for some insane reason, I really like Step.

Good luck to everyone who's working on it!
