Geez-a-loo! I wish it would stop raining!

It has rained for 4 days solid..just one of those slow soaking rains which I guess we needed, but I live on a dirt road. I went to my parents' house saturday and nearly ran off in the ditch and that was 2 days of rain ago. I didn't go to church yesterday b/c I was scared I'd end up in a ditch. I'm scared to leave my house until it's had a good day to dry out some. :blink: I need to see some sunshine again!
 
We were in that same boat last week Nikki. We got over 4 inches of rain in 3 days. It was cloudy and cold that whole time too. I was in such a funk last week because of it. Hopefully the sun comes out soon for you guys!
 
I'm in it too...working on day 4 of rain/clouds/40 degree weather when just last week we had sunny 70-80s!!! WAAAAAAAAAAAH c'mon SPRING!!!
 
I'd be more than happy to take some of that rain off your hands...send it to Oklahoma, we really need it!
 
we can use it down here. I went out last week to a nature preserve and the rivers/lakes are parched. Some of them are literally so dry the mud on the bottom is showing and it has no moisture even left in it. The mud is dried out and cracking. So sad because the animals there were running out of places for food and water. We are supposed to get some rain on Wednesday or Thursday I think. I really do hope anyhow. Oh our fire index last I heard was up in the 700's which is pretty high I think. We had a wildfire start not to far from my house this weekend

We needed it too..we were getting close to drought conditions but enough is enough lol...at least it's warm though..in the 70's..it could be a cold rain which would be much worse lol.

Just come on down here to Mississippi :p We may have a few cool days left in March but we're pretty much done with winter weather by April. My dogwoods and azealas are already blooming! Of course by May we'll be in the 90's with humidity to take your breath away so I plan to enjoy April to it's fullest lol
 
I think it's an east coast storm thing..lol we're on day 4 too..blah

I know we need it, but it's a teacher work day here so my kids are home..and i would really love for them to be OUTSIDE burning some energy right now lol
