A Request for Darcy

Darcy I love your BOLD looking fonts like "Geek Who Wear Glasses", "Hunky Chunk" (I just realized it's not installed! must have crashed with my ehd), "Mess in My Head", and even "Writes a Lot". I like them because they seem to stand out best on busy layouts...I use them more than any other fonts (other than the custom font you made for my son Brian).

Could you create some more of these really BOLD LIKE fonts?? Pretty please?

Thank you!!!!!!!! :)

You know you can always add a stroke to a regular font too? I do that a lot to make them stand out some. Normally just 1-2 px so my journaling shows up (when i want it to lol)

I just figured that out tonight...I hadn't ever tried it with text before...just pictures!

I do think it helped the font stand out...

I like those big heavy fonts...makes them stand out a bit like alphas...but without all the "placement" work. lol Yep...lazy lazy! Now if only they could design alphas to work like true type fonts...ahhhh that would be the ultimate lazy life!

Thanks for the tip!

Duly noted :)

You know you can make any font a little bolder by 1. Using the Bold text key in PS (and I think PSE?) in the Character window, or by adding a stroke to it. You don't want to go more than 3 or so, depending on the size, but it gives a little oomph to any font if you want it to be just a little more :)

sorry - I hadn't read through this before mentioning the stroke, etc.

I always add a stroke of at least one-if not two to the "thiner" Darcy Fonts...make them bolder-and keeps the same fun of the font.
The fonts you listed are more Title Fonts...at least to me, and I love them too!
