I missed it! Wahhhh! My darn satellite stopped working night before last, we have to get a tech out to look at it. I'm not impressed. :thumbdown:

Was anyone any good?
 
I think the only one worthy of moving on is Adam Lambert. There are a lot from last week that I think should move on over this week. I was disappointed.
 
I really liked the 16 YO girl who sang "Alone." I thought she was pretty good last night and has potential to get even better. But ITA, there were people from last week that didn't make it that would have been better.
 
I'm not getting the adam vibe..sometimes he sounds like a girl when he sings.

Paula just doesn't need to talk...like ever

Norman...did he come out as himself? Or did he do some joke act again? The thing that kills me with him is, I think the guy can actually sing, if he ever just got serious about it.

I think Allison who sang alone (she's 16!!) was good..and I liked Megan (the sleeve girl..who sang put your records on)
 
I think it will be Adam, sleeve girl (love that name Meg) and the redhead. See I'm so impressed I remembered their names LOL!!!!!

So far, this season isn't so great and I really don't like the way they are narrowing them down.
 
I really liked Allison, too. She reminds me of how Kelly Clarkson did early on in the first season, and look how great she turned out to be! :)

I can't believe Norman (is that his name?) with his ridiculous act. He hopefully won't get thru....

I stopped watching it at 9:30- I couldn't take anymore of it! There are so many awful ones in the competition- I think every year just gets worse & worse!!!! Hopefully I didn't miss anyone good! (sarcastic!!! LOL!) :p
 
I'm really annoyed by having to listen to four judges say the same thing one after another, but in their own language.

R: Dawg, I wasn't feelin' it.
C: I'm just not sure that was the right song.
P: What I like best abt you is that you remind me of a rainbow in the sky on a rainy July night. I think a rainbow might sing a different song. But you're pretty like a rainbow.
S: Your song sucked, and you do, too.

I am way underwhelmed with this season's chicks, too.
 
I am completely underwhelmed so far this season! Even Adam - who everyone seems to love - gets on my nerves. His voice sounds fairly good, but I can't stand to watch him. He's so overdone from the hairstyle to the clothing to the carefully choreographed lip snarls. :)

Megan Corkery's little dorky twists and fist pumps really annoyed me and I thought Adam kinda sucked.

Yeah - WTH WAS that? It was so awkward and weird and just wrong. I thought she sounded bad, but the Judges liked her.

I watched bits & pieces of last night since the MU/UConn game was on. Was it nerves or what? But as my husband so nicely put it - "It is very bad karaoke." And I thought so, too.

And about Jamar coming back - that may be the case. He has NOT been seen around here, nor has the local news had him on. I would have thought that he would have been on talking about Danny and so on - but NADA. I know he is probably out in Hollywood, but maybe his silence is speaking volumes - KWIM? I sure hope he's on again.
 
I liked Adam, Allison and what is that girls name with the tattoos? Some of the ones that I thought for sure would be great...sucked! Last night was BAD. I'm a big fan of Adam, I pretty much think he rocks.
 
Oh I forgot about the Alone girl. I liked her, too. And for the record, I don't like HIM. I just thought he did well last night. :)

I normally like tattoo girl-- but last night not so much.

Oh I HOPE Jamar gets to come back!!!! That would rock my socks.
 
loved allison (sang heart's- alone)...she blew my face off. the only one, in fact.

loved adam...i love his girly voice. he's uber talented and soooo friggin with it style wise.

also really liked the chick who sang betty davis eyes. love her voice.

the chickie with the tat sleeves who sang go put your records on was just okay and she was one of my faves. that little happy snowman dance she was doing had me rolling.

nick/norman was HILARIOUS. he needs to go, but i am sorry...dude is funny. if you didn't laugh at him or weren't entertained at some level your dead inside. lmao!!!
 
Sue me but I love Normal Gentle. Seriously, who would have the nerve or guts to really pull something like that off!?
I really wish he would have made last night a little serious, at least after he came off the stairs. He's got a voice but you cant tell it from all the comedy relief.
Dude...would that not rock...the finale between Danny & Jamar!?
Oh I hope he comes back!!!
 
funny you should say that...cause i told dh last nite that i kinda want his hair now. mine is kinda weird in the back like his...but dude has it going on. i wanna be the exact chick version of him.
 
My 17 y/o and I watched it when I got home from work last night.

This is how I see it... (and I had to go online to see their pics and get their names)

Adam Lambert: Totally rocked. I think he's fabulous. My son says he's "tasty". Hmmmm...not sure about that comment! LOL

Allison: She sang pretty good, and for her age she's awesome. She was off key in some spots. My son thinks she's great, but is hard to look at. (remember...coming from a 17 year old!)

Sleeve Girl (LOL) Megan: I really like her a lot...my son does too, and say's she's "freakin' hot" I'll have to go back and watch the performance. Everyone is saying how she did weird things. I was sitting at my computer and listening to her, so I didn't get to see the weird things!

Mishavonna: She sings great...she just needs to relax a bit. I would like to see her go on.

So...my top three...Adam, Sleeve Girl and Mishavonna.

Same here. I thought it was funny when Ryan was trying to show her the dance she did and she goes "I so didn't do that!" with this horrified look on her face. My DH was all "you might want to watch the tape." :D Her dancing was totally distracting and while I like her voice, I wanted her to be a lot better than she was last night. I don't understand Adam at all, it's all just so over the top.

I think last night's show could have been a whole lot better if they had all made better song choices. I really don't get what they're thinking this season. Does anyone else think that maybe they're using the wild card as a crutch? Like well if I don't make it now, there's always the wild card? It just seems like they're all playing it too safe.

I don't get him either...he just seems so forced with his look and all. And he just seems a little too full of himself. And then Paula's dumb comment last night about not watching a singing competition but watching a Adam Lambert concert...she's such a fruitcake. :p
 
I hope Jamar comes back!!!!!! He and Danny can be the top 2 and all the others can just...IDK, go away or something.

I liked Adam and the orange-haired 16yo last night. What was her name?
 
I'm just really not liking how they pick the top 12 this year. It's too random or something...like last night pretty much everyone sucked but 3 will go through..well then maybe next week 6 will be like amazing but only three of them will go through. I know they keep talking about this wild card episode..but I just don't get why they changed it.
