Facebook tutorial? I want to try it again

Is there a facebook tutorial? I signed up before, got confused, cancelled my account, and now think I'm ready to try it again. But I don't want to end up confused again. Can someone walk me through what I need to know?
 
Well, you'll probably get tons of notifications from people for "apps". If that confuses you, just ignore them. I ignore TONS of them.

Otherwise, I'm not sure what's confusing about it, LOL!
 
It confuses me, too, Julie...don't worry. I think it's just overwhelming b/c there's soooooooo much going on, so much to look at, etc. I'm just very basic...I don't do much except Pet Society (that's a MUST, lol) and the occasional flair. I just like to keep up with people and see what they're up to. :)

Once you get started, LMK if I can help at all...though I probably can't. :p
 
Yeah, a lot of the time the number of notifications can be overwhelming. I tend to ignore them too!! LOL!! I hope you join!!
 
I really don't do anything other than stalk peoples statuses/update mine, write on peeps walls, and play with pet society. There IS a lot going on and it CAN get overwhelming. I disabled my email notifications a long while back.. cause it was insanity. I get new invites and what not every 3 seconds :p

Here's La's FB walk through.. a day in the life of FB..
When I log in.. I click home.. then click status updates. Browse through, see if I want to annoy anyone leaving a comment..... sometimes I click on the pictures tab(I do not like the "news feed" thing.. too much useless crap in there).

Then when I'm bored bothering people I write something stupid on my own.. and play with my pet ^_^

that is the extent of my FB play.
 
I've reactivated my account. I'm begging Col for help. All I see is blank stuff. I don't see all the excitement yet. LOL
 
both I guess? but cooler... :p You can write notes that some peeps use like a blog... and the updates are more twitterish I suppose..... and then all the other stuff. haha. clear.
