DS found a ladybug during naptime today and set "him" on his night table, thinking it'd be there when he got up. Weeeell, Dom's been looking for that darn bug for an hour and a half... just bawling "Momma, where'd he go? Where's my best friend, Buggy?", "Buggy! Come back to me, Buggy!"

Poor dude.

ETA: Technically it's one of those Japanese beetle thingies, not a genuine lady bug but whatevs.

My nephew adopted a caterpillar on vacation this summer...he put it in the trailer. It took a LONG time for my sister to find it (and umm...get rid of it).
