So the end of the year is almost upon us.

Anything you want to do before 2009?

I'm thinking I would like to clean out my email inbox . . . 4413 messages and counting, hee hee.

Well I would like to make sure I hit 500 layouts for 2008....but I need to sort through all my folders and count...I was at 300+ when I forgot to copy them into my 2008 folder.

I would like to finish dh's desk calendar...it's still in the basement partially done...

I also want to finish my wall calendar so I can write all my appointments for 2009 on them!

Okay, so I have this sociology paper that was due at the beginning of December. But I thought it was due during finals. and with the move and whatever, I haven't done it. But my professor said to email him when the holidays were over and he would adjust my grade. So I should probably do that.

Lose more weight. It has taken me since Feb to lose 22 pnds (I weighed early in the month) and hopefully I have dropped more instead of gained. Very frustrating but I guess I just have to stick to it. I have a very long way to go, like 60 pnds.
Other stuff too, long list but we'll see :)
I want all the paperwork organized and to clean my computer room before the new year.

Well...I'd LOVE to get out of debt (yeah right)...get pregnant (LOL, really not gonna happen, so pick your jaw up off the floor Sharon)....get my desktop up and running again (getting software loaded now YAY)...and get my wall calendar printed.

I'd love to eat out every lunch and dinner til then just so I can finish up my farewell food tour since come Jan 1 all that mess is OUT of my daily life...dh and I are tackling a new lifestyle with eating and exercise. I'm happy to say I'm finally in the right mindset to do this since I've been avoiding losing this baby weight for over 8 months now!

I cant think of one single thing, isnt that sad LOL. Maybe to get the bills paid so nothing get shuts off before income tax..that would be a shame. Its been one of those months around here.

I'm trying to finish my wedding album!!!

THat was my resolution I think for this year. Or I know was at least to get all the pictures scanned which I did. Wish me Luck!!

I would really like to start exercising again. I lost 80+ lbs in 2008 and don't want to turn into one of those wrinkling, lose skinned old ladies! LOL

I really need to start scrappin more too but with having two little ones it is soooo hard.

Clean this house and stay more organized...I know I drive my DH bonkers at times!

Hmmm, maybe let my DH touch me more! LOL Once again, he's frustrated with me! LMAO!!!

Hmmm, a lot really. Realistically - none of it will happen. LOL!!!

As soon as the x-mas decorations are put away we (DH and I) are going to go through every room in our house together and get rid of all the crap we haven't used and don't need and do some rearranging/organizing. I can't wait to be clutter free!!!

clearing off my hard drive. and moving everything onto my EHD. that's my main goal. it'll be done new year's eve when my father is home to make sure i don't ruin anything.

other than that... i'd like to get my financial stuff settled and organized. gotta get on top of it before i lose control. another project for this week. i need to get my notebook and folders and things like that all out and set it up.

We need to do this SO badly! We just never have enough time as each room would probably take a whole day to clean out and sort. Ugh. I told DH I wanted to get a dumpster to put on our driveway until we get this house uncluttered. He didn't go for it. But the clutter in my house is seriously weighing on me...I think we need to move. :P

Mary, try focusing on one thing for 15 or 20 minutes at a time. Say a desk in one room, a closet in another. Breaking it up and making little bits of progress sometimes helps instead of being completely overwhelmed with the whole house. :)

That's a good idea Col, because the whole house IS completely overwhelming - 6 people living here, 4 of who constantly mess it up. Maybe I need to make a list - I always do better with a list. ;)

Lists are good :) I have to reorganize my scrap space for what seems like the 854903849032243th time this year, and I'm totally intimidated. Or is it lazy. Whichever :p

But yea. Totally feel ya. It'll feel good to get started and get something accomplished. And then once that balls starts rolling, just go with it and get even more done! :)

Moving is the perfect solution.. ROFL. We move so much that we almost never have clutter. We purge at least once a year.

Not sure I'll get it done by Jan 1st but I'd like to get all my digi stuff opened up and tagged in ACDSee so I can start the new year (and new SSD challenges) with a fresh perspective. I'm hoping having everything catalogued and easy to find will make my pages better.

I know, it's going to be overwhelming. But what DH has decided we are doing is just making a pile in our extra living room and we are going to do 1 room a day until they are all done and then he will load everything up and take it to the Salvation Army or Goodwill.

We really need to start in the garage. If we could get that cleared out, then the things that are stored inside the house, that should be outside, would have someplace to go. I refuse to do the garage by myself because of scorpions. =O

Hmm... let's see.

- I've done well over my scrapping goal for the year
- my inbox is cleaned out
- my files are all backed up
- laundry is done
- chili is in the crockpot

Oh I know - I want to clean out my refrigerator. LOL
