I just applied for a job as an admissions counselor for EKU. I am qualified for the job (required a BS/BA with a year of experience and I had exactly that) but honestly this was the first time I've ever applied for a job that required my degree and I've had it for over 2 years (I was 7 months pg with Naomi when I graduated so uhhhhhh not looking, kwim?)

Realistically I know that I'm probably not going to get a job the very first time I apply for something...but it doesn't stop me from hoping! If David works, I don't have to, but seeing as he's going to be unemployed in about a month, I can't help but start looking. Neither of us are interested in him being a SAHD, but there's nothing saying we both CAN'T work either. If I could already have a job lined up it would make for a smooth transition while he's looking for a job.

It was so weird and surreal, applying for a job. I'm excited and worried at the same time. (fear of rejection) LOL!

Oh that's exciting and nerve warking at the same time! LoL!

I'll keep my fingers crossed for you hon! It'll be such a relief to know you have a good option for when David gets home. :)

LUCK SWEETS!!!! i actually applied for several temp/holiday type jobs yesterday and it was super weird applying too. all the luck in my bones, i offer to you!!!

So I'm confused Lena... why is David going to be unemployed? I thought he joined the Army? Did he decide not to further that and be deployed somewhere?

Jae, he shot his ankles when he was training to pass his PT test and they are letting him out of the army due to his ankles.
