booo to the amounts of snow we have. booooo. :D

it is gorgeous, however.

i'll only be happy if we can hang out and watch it snow.

I'm so jealous. I'm still in shorts and just rode my bike to the store. Not exactly getting me in the mood for Christmas!

*gasp*
Boo??!?! Boo to the snow??!?!?!

Thats sacreligious Liz! Its our first real snow of the year! Doesn't it make you feel like dancing a snow-fairy dance and catching snowflakes on your tongue?

C'mon now Mrs. Scrooge. Get in the holiday spirit!!

It is rather pretty. I'm just glad I don't have to drive anywhere today. :D

ya'll probably got a lot more than us, Lynette. You usually do. But we got a fair amount (maybe 6 inches?) so I'm a happy camper. And yes, its not quite as wonderful when you have to drive in it.

Ugh, I hate snow (unless I am skiing and I will not be skiing in the flat place I live) especially since I have to drive 20 miles to work now. Yuck. I can't even call in a snow day, I have to go no matter what the roads are like.

*giggle* sacreligious...:D:D:D bah!!!...humbug. :D jk. don't kill me. but i start to feel closed in with all the white. it reminds me of my rubber room.

oh ok...i'll do a snow fairy dance and get back with ya.

we are capable of getting alot of snow here in Indiana, but its not near as pretty here probably. we have no mountains, lol. its pretty flat. and i HATED driving in it. it makes me so nervous! i normally have a lead foot, but in the winter i'm the complete opposite, lol. and i hate being cold!

I love New Mexico! We went to the park yesterday in shorts and played for 2 hours. Can't do that in the snow!! And I'm from Utah, so I know what the snow's like. I can do without it. We go back there every Christmas, so I get my fill then.

I'm with ya, Lizzy. I start to get really claustrophobic with the snow, especially when the sky is that flat gray. It's making me stressed just thinking about it!

We had frost on the ground this morning...if I squinted so tight my eyes shut it looked like snow....

::sigh:: We only got rain today :( I'm hoping to wake up to snow in the morning. Or saturday morning. It's not supposed to be great weather here the next 2 days, so there's a chance :)

Ya, if I could choose, I'd like 2 days of snow a year - Christmas Eve and Christmas Day, then for it to completely melt off our green grass and the sun to shine bright. Once the holidays are over and January comes, I'm ready for it to be warm weather again.

It's snowing here today, too...we haven't had much yet which is unusual. And what we did have melted right away. But I think winter is here to stay now...

Ahh...you made this Texas girl a little homesick. I grew up in Fort Collins and my parents and sister still live there! I LOVE the snow...until January 1 and then I'm over it! ;)

Well, luckily we're in the southern part of Colorado Springs so we get quite a bit less than they do farther north. The weather forecast was saying anywhere from 1-3," when I went out this afternoon I think it was maybe at 1.5" or so, so not too bad. Just enough to make it pretty. This is the start of our 3rd winter here but I still get excited about the snow. It's still such a novelty after living in CA for 23 years. :D

Awww, sorry hon! I live in Loveland and Liz is in Windsor so Ft. Collins is just as much "home" to us as our own cities. It snowed all day today and its our first "real" snow of the year which, as you know, is pretty late for the part of the front range.
