Best digiscrapping community?

Hi everyone. I've only been digiscrapping for a while and have just started lurking on forums. There seem to be a LOT out there! Can you tell me why this one (or another) is your favorite?

Also, where is the best place to post your layouts? Lots of options there too - and I don't want to post in multiple places!
 
Well, obviously I'm going to be partial to this place...everyone here is really friendly and helpful, there are AWESOME challenges hosted by our fabulously talented SugarBabes (we're currently on a break but the challenges are coming back in January - until then we're doing the daily Cookie Exchange though)...there's just LOTS of fun to be had here! :) I'm not saying there isn't at other boards, but this is the only one I hang out at anymore... :)

As for posting layouts - SSD is a great gallery but it's not an open gallery - you can post layouts using SSD products and layouts that are for our challenges (but don't necessarily have to have SSD products on them). There are lots of open galleries out there, and I actually post in several. They all have their pros and cons. :)

ETA: Welcome to SSD, and I hope that you decide to stick around and hang with us! :)
 
I am partial to this place because I've been here almost two years. The designers are top notch, the challenges are the best and it's just so friendly and welcoming here!! I never buy from anyone else anymore.
 
I have lurked on a couple of different sites and have found that Sweet Shoppe is the best community out there (in my opinion anyway.) Everyone is so friendly and the inspiration in the gallery is the best out there!
 
this is THE best community hands down!!!! everyone is warm and friendly and encouraging. the designers are really involved here as well. its just tons of fun...hand out and see for yourself!

as far as where can you post all your LO's. DST, MSA, digi chick, scrap artist....

You won't find another community that can beat Sweet Shoppe! The designers are amazing, the challenges are awesome and provide tons of inspiration, and everyone is so warm and welcoming! You won't go wrong sticking around here. :)

Amy gave a good list of open galleries. Those should help you!

Open Challenges?

Thanks for all this advice - it's super helpful!

Can I clarify the forum/gallery guidelines? From what I'm reading - regular layouts posted should be SSD-based, but I can participate in challenges using outside designers. Is that correct?

I love ssd for the ladies, dst is great for open galleries, and justdigilayouts is an up and coming place that will pretty much let you do anything! ;)
 
3 reasons SSD is the best place to be:

1. best challenges to keep you inspired (resuming 1-1-09)
2. greatest most loving open-minded respectful girls ever who have vowed to keep you personally entertained all hours of the day. rain or shine. oh and they are extremely helpful and are always up for getting questions answered.
3. because i said it's the best and what lizzy says goes. :D:D:D

this is the best site around!! everyone is extremely friendly and the designers are just fantastic! this is my main gallery, but i also post my layouts at DST, MSA, SA for my CTs. but i don't 'hang' out anywhere else. you'll love it here!!!
 
This is the best place to be. Everyone here is so caring and nice. The challenges rock too and they have gotten me to scrap so much more.

Welcome to SSD! I tend to agree that this is my most favorite place to hang in the digi world. I lurk and sometimes post at a couple of other sites but I only feel comfortable posting here. I find some of the other sites very cliquey and I tend to be a thread killer there (well come to think of it, that happens here sometimes too so maybe it's just me!) or just don't feel like I fit in. I happen to not mind about the open gallery thing here since most of my layouts are all SSD products anyway. :) I am sure you will love it here!

SSD is such a warm and fun community. Definitely the best place to hang out.
 
I'm still kinda new here (well it's been about 6 months since I've been really active)... but the designs are top notch, the community is friendly to everyone (no catty cliques-YAY!), full of awesome inspiration, and the challenges are great.

I've been around many places and keep coming back here... you just gotta love having a "one-stop shop!" Welcome to SSD!

crap. i suck at life aaron. i mean...don't take this the wrong way but i totally consider you one of 'the girls'. i can totally see going shopping with you and hanging out at starbucks looking over a gossip mag together. i would be a better person if i had more guy friends like you IRL. your wife is lucky, does she know?

Okay I read this and had a totally flash to the TV show Buffy the Vampire Slayer. Buffy says, " You're not like other boys...You are totally and completely one of the girls!"
