How many unused kits do you have in your stash?

I just bought a laptop this weekend, so I'm doing a bit of clean up and was quite surprised how many kits I have that I haven't gotten around to using. I think I need to put myself on a buying hiatus, lol -- will I have the willpower?

So .... how many kits do you have that you haven't worked with yet?
 
don't even go there. i promised myself that i would not hoard after the fire. i did well for the first 6 months but since then i have been on a slide.
 
Agreed. I don't count my unused kits. I know I will use them eventually. I've done WAY better in the last few months, watching my spending. I probably don't have a ton, but I don't really care whether I do or not, so what's the point in counting? Lol!
 
Well, one doesn't really know for sure.

In my "New Downloads" on my desktop I have 55 kits.

In my other "Kits to be Used" folder I have 45 kits.

But that's not really accurate because every few months I'll go in a put all the kits away because I get overwhelmed.

I plead the 5th (but I'm on a buying hiatus myself since I found some more UNZIPPED kits yesterday!)
 
I have a category in ACDSee called "Needs to be Scrapped" and I tag the preview of all kits I need to scrap with.

Now it doesn't include element, alpha or paper ONLY packs that I have bought and doesn't include kits I got for "free" (whether through a freebie, gift, free with purchase, extra perk ect....), it's only kits that I have actually PAID $$ for.

I have 110 kits I need to scrap with!!!! But just a few months ago it was proably 300 I need to scrap with. I have been a scrapping fool and i have also purged a ton of stuff I knew I'd NEVER use!!! :thumbup:
 
I went back, and it is too many to count, but less than 95GB.....:blink:

LOL! Now, I want to know, so will go back and count later today.
 
i'm with jenny. i'm pretty good at not hoarding. i probably only have 12-14 kits unused and that is good since all of ssd is at my disposal. :o gollie, all i want for christmas is to be a fast scrapper.
 
Umm...more than a few LOL. If I actually went through everything on my EHD and counted, I'm sure I'd be sick, so we're not going there LOL!

On the other hand, most of my Sweet Shoppe stash HAS been used, except for what I just bought over the weekend.
 
I definitely need a buying hiatus. I don't know how many unused kits I have, but my unused kit folder is 7GB! This is all stuff since September. EEEEKKKK!!!

I have a problem.
 
I think at last count, it was about 72. :blink: I did just recently delete a lot of them that I know I'll never use, though.
 
i tend to use kits within a week of buying them. occasionally i might not get to it for longer. not sure exactly but i think i have only 3 or 4 kits that i haven't used yet. and they are ones i just got within the last few days. on the other hand, i tend to only use kits once, except for maybe going back for some elements or papers. this isn't true for all kits, but most of the time they only get used once. i hate that. i'm trying to use them atleast twice. but sometimes i'm only inspired once, lol.
 
I just counted.... ummm...84.....(just full kits...not embellie packs or anything) Is that terrible?? no one is saying, so I don't have anything to compare it with! lol!
 
Because I am so afraid of getting carried away with having tons of kits that I will someday get around to...I keep myself in check. I did get some I have been admiring in the Black Friday sale and Digi Day that will probably sit for a few months, but that adds up to maybe 3 or 4? I try and buy what I am going to use right away.:)
 
You have will power!!!! I actually think I may have more I need to use because I did some wierd re-organizing of kits this weekend and its got me all screwy.

omg, half my stash, maybe? I have 300gb worth of stash and at the very least, 50-70% is unused... if my DH found out, I'd be toast.
 
I still need to count mine (I'm at work right now). I going to guess that I have 10-15. I bought quite a few over DSD and Black Friday that I haven't used. I'm usually pretty good about using them. I try to use them more than once too (or at least parts of them, lol).
 
I have nearly 500 unused kits :mellow:! I'm a hoarder by nature LOL!

As I told Lena, it's better to hoarde kits than cats. Cats are smelly, kits are pretty LOL!
