Did you see the new Gmail themes under the settings menu?
OMG they are SO FUN!
I have Candy as my theme and it is SO freakin adorable!!:thumbup:
 
yeah, they are fun! I just tried out the planet one. It's kind of cool but will take me some time to get used to. I'm going to have a play around. I want a Christmas one!
 
i tried Candy and it made me feel sick (probably b/c i just ate a bunch of candy).

i'm using Desk right now
 
I'm using Tea House because the time of day on the theme changes with the time of day you really live in and I think that's cool.
I love Candy though...

i think my iGoogle page does that too (or did I imagine that?). i think that is cool too.

i was noticing in the Labs tab that there's a thing you can enable that will give you a math problem to solve before you can send out an email so that you don't send out stupid emails while not at 100% mental capacity LOL (i think you set the times on it so it's not running all the time)
 
I have a few gmail accounts - it's only available on one of them so far - I hope the others catch up soon - they're freakin' adorable!
 
I just looked into it and found a reply for us that can't see it....
an answer to someone who asked why they weren't able to see the new feature: "You need to wait until the new feature is enabled in your account. That should happen soon."

So they must be slowly working on accounts and it wasn't an all-at-once feature for all of gmailers.

NOW i know what you're talking about! It's not gmail per se. It's another part of google, where you can have different pods for news like sports, ad games and such. Until you said tea house, which i've had quite a while, i didn't have a clue,lol.

i think you're thinking of iGoogle. there are themes now just for gmail.
 
iGoogle is awesome. I can preview my emails, see my google reader, get an awesome photo of the day, see my google groups, the weather, the news, etc, all on one screen. You NEED it. :)

My gmail doesn't have the fun stuff yet. :(
 
Beach all the way! and it changes with the time of day too, I love the purple sky in the evening and the bright fresh blue in the morning! And now my iGoogle and Gmail matchy matchy!

(Mandy iGoogle is like a homepage where you can see your Gmail, Google Reader and add apps like calendars, birthday reminders, to do lists and did you know only 35 days 2 hours, 36 minutes and 32 seconds until Christmas? ;) )

FYI - mine just changed this morning as I switched accounts. I logged out of my business one into my persona one, and when I came back, Themes was available. I'm doing planets now..not liking the dark background, yet, but LOVE seeing the astronomical parts!
 
I LOVE igoogle :) I love that the theme changes with the time of day!

I hope I get it soon. I want a pretty gmail too!!
Mimi, that lab is Mail Goggles. So you can't send drunken emails at 3am to an exboyfriend :p
 
It's not active on my accounts yet, but it makes no difference really. I receive all my gmail through my e-mail program. Am I really the only one who uses the POP3 access???

i do the opposite LOL. I have 4 accounts going into Gmail.
