A few months back there was a thread at DST about the Butler Bags. I immediately fell in love with them, but couldn't justify the expense. So I signed up for their newsletter in hopes of a good coupon some day.

I received an email from them yesterday with a secret sale on their classic and hybrid bags. I have been wanting one of their classic bags since I first saw them. Last week I even went ahead and ordered a new organizer/purse from QVC (which I will be returning now).

The promotion is on the Hybrid Bag and the Classic Bag. The Hybrid Bag is normally $165 and it is now $95. The Classic Bag (which is smaller and the one I wanted) is normally $125 and it is now $75.

I have only heard wonderful things about these purses. I just ordered the classic in "olive martini." Which looks like such a cool (and different) color. :thumbup: Too bad they don't have a purple color for La! LOL

Well $75 is a heck of a lot better than $125. It is still quite a bit for a handbag, but within a range I would consider. When it gets over $100 I can't convince DH that I need (or want) it. I have tons of handbags up in my closet. LOL

Tell your hubby about it -- maybe you can get it for an early Christmas present. :)
 
OMG! I have never even heard of these before! How awesome are they?! I neeeed one! lol! I don't have the funds at the moment,but one will be mine! ;)

This is the purse I bought from QVC. I like it well enough -- but being 5'10" the strap for being a crossover purse is quite a bit too short. I should have read all of the reviews before purchasing it. I am gonna return it this next week since I have to go to the post office anyhow.

I ordered the blue one and it IS very nice... but IMO doesn't even come close to being as cool as the Butler Classic Bag. :D

You aren't supposed to look at those! haha!! Now if I had the $$ to buy a $1400 purse I wouldn't be sitting at my desk all week long designing. I would be out buying tons of stuff I didn't need (which I am very good at). LOL

I got one of those last year. It was easy to talk DH into that -- because I told him it was a camera bag (didn't even mention that it was large enough to be used for a purse too). And I needed a new camera bag. A need not a want. LOL

roflmao.....well if I pay more then 20$ for a purse, I'm splurging! I HATE carrying one, but....well, have to most days. If I can get away with throwing my credit card in my back pocket with my ID, I'm good to go! lol. Hubbie gets off easy with me in this department....and shoes, and clothes....I hate shopping! lol. Very kewl purses though....
 
I dont carry a purse anymore. Have a camera bag which has my camera in it and my license and a credit card. That is all I use. When I did carry a bag I usually had a big hobo style bag and my favorite one ever only cost 21 dollars at Sears or JCPenneys. It was a Levi's leather bag in a dark brown. I also had a large XOXO bag with multi colored butterflies which I loved. Got it on Ebay for 25 dollars and I think it was regularly like 60-70
