ok that was freaky...

I didnt get much sleep last night because of my silly little cat thinking that when I move it means he must attack whatever part of me is moving (IE my hands, feet, head) and so once the kids were all gone for school I was gonna lay down and take a nap but just as I was drifting off to sleep I hear a single gunshot. It is not uncommon to hear them out here as we live in the country but it is uncommon to hear them on a weekday at 9:30 in the morning. Im sure it was nothing because I looked outside and nothing seems to be out of the ordinary. Not sure if I should call the police and report it or not though. Not gonna really get a nap now though.
 
Ugh, I hate that!! A few years ago I heard what sounded like a rifle shot and report...which we NEVER hear out here. It was like 1 in the morning, so I sat here for a while trying to decide what to do. Eventually I called it in just in case - they came out and asked me a bunch of questions and drove around with their searchlights on, etc. We live in a really small town, and we're at the edge of town, and at the time had no neighbors (except a farm to the east)...lol...but it was like really weird and freaky.

I figured I'd better report it though in case a few months later they found a body or something, haha. Morbid, right?
 
yea I do too. I dont think it was anything bad most likely some idiot outside target shooting or something. Just not something I really like to hear when Im just on the verge of falling asleep

That is a possibility also...We do not normally have them anywhere near us but there has been some construction going on a few streets over and they tore down the orange groves and alot of the woods so the deer are really on the move and maybe someone got a deer in their front yard. Defenitely a possibility.
