Sooo the weekend slipped away from me (we had a stupid wedding for his family to go to yesterday but I won't EVEN go into that :cursing: ) and NO laundry got done. NONE! I thought "Hmm, laundry or massive amounts of scrapping?" and the answer was pretty obvious. Well DH was none too happy when he got called into work tonight and had no clean clothes. :glare: It's not MY fault that he doesn't have more than like 4 outfits!!

Meh, oh well... I wonder if anyone's gotten divorced over digiscrappin' *strokes fake beard* :D

ROFLOL... Yeah, I always choose scrapping over laundry too! On Saturday I had SIX baskets to be folded and put away.... it was crazy!

But my DH knows better than to complain, if he doesn't like it, he can do the laundry himself! LOL!

OH - thanks for the reminder go change only the 2nd load I started this weekend. And don't be too impressed - the 1st one only got done because my son got sick all over his blanket, and my pants, and the bathroom rug....

Yeah ... I found a stinky load in my washer today. LOL ... I rewashed it and threw in Oxyclean and prayed. It seemed ok so it went to the dryer. I hope it smells ok once it's dry!

(And I'm washing a load of stuff for ME to wear to work tomorrow right now!)

exactly what i saw. :p

I trained my DH to do the laundry, so I am the one yelling if I don't have clean clothes!

ETA - He would have to stop doing laundry a lot longer than a weekend for me to run out of clothes LOL

Exactly why DH and oldest DS do their own laundry and as soon as I think the 10yo can remember to do it he'll be doing his too! I can never get blamed for anyone in the house not having any clean clothes! LOL!

DH washes his own work clothes (they can't be mixed with anything else, cause they're nasty...err...greasy, lol), so I don't have to worry about that. The only times I get in trouble are if he asked me to put them in the dryer after he goes to bed and then I forget.

I desperately need to do laundry today, though...

LOL I woke up early (not on purpose!!) and did most of the laundry already. I was very tempted to gather all of DH's dirty clothes and dump them on the floor next to his side of the bed... but I repressed the urge.

Mine puts his dirty clothes on the floor IN FRONT OF THE WASHING MACHINE. They don't get washed. If he puts them in the hamper upstairs, or by the hamper, I wash them. If you can't move your arm another 6 inches and dump them IN the washing machine, I'm not washing them.

Then he'll say.. are you going to wash my jeans? Um.. no. LOL

*giggle* Men. Seriously, sometimes I wonder what they'd do without women!? They'd be naked, dirty, starving, living under pine trees (which brings a whole new string of issues due to the nakedness)... *shudder* It's frightening, really.

I always think scrapping and laundry can happily co-exist even though history has shown otherwise. I convince myself that I'll get two or three loads done because, hey, I just have to break here and there and run downstairs to toss loads in, transfer to dryer, etc. right? Never quite works that way! :D

Ugh I should definitely be doing some laundry right now (along with a few other stupid household chores) but instead here I sit :D

Yeah, I'm lucky that my washer and dryer are in the family room (it's an apartment) because they are no more than 10 feet from me when I'm sitting on the computer... but I often forget to change them over sometimes and I have to wash a load over again every now and then because they start to smell. :p

Now dinner is another story. I HATE when DH starts whining that he's hungry. Okay, go eat something. He won't evne cook himself something in the microwave. It makes me crazy. Oh, just last night I cooked him a pizza (I had a salad instead b/c I don't like frozen pizzas) and I took it out of the oven to cool. THen he was like, is the pizza done? Yup. Did you cut it? Nope. Are you going to cut it? Nope. Then he got all pouty. Are you that LAZY?! lol

LOL!! I have the opposite issue... I love dinnertime and I do it at the exact same time every single day. What does DH do? He makes himself an entire meal like 10 minutes before I start cooking... then isn't hungry for what I make. Drives me bonkers! Like WTH am I and 2 small children going to do with, say, an entire chicken?! Dorkus.

I got motivated and threw a load in. Go me!

Okay, somebody yell at me in an hour so I remember to take it out and put it in the dryer. :D

Will do! I just put my 3rd load in the dryer, though I haven't folded the first two yet...they're in a basket in front of the dryer still. LOL!

WARNING...RANDOM THOUGHT AHEAD

You know what I wish...that washers/dryers had like a customizable "ringtone" on them instead of that annoying buzzer. I'd definitely love it a lot more if it played cool songs when it was done instead of an incessant buzzing.

BTW, can you tell that my dryer has an annoying buzzer, and there isn't an option to turn it off? We have a love/hate relationship - I love it because it reminds me to take the clothes out of the dryer, but I hate it because it never fails that it goes off JUST after someone falls asleep and it wakes them up!
