Have your handwriting made into a font....

Darcy Baldwin

Just a Scrapper
One of the things I always missed when I first started digi-scrapping was having my handwriting on my pages. I'm a big journaler, and wanted to be able to have my words in my writing. Now you can, too!

Whether yours is sloppy, petite or a mix of cursive/print, we can create a font that reflects your writing!

The process is simple. You'll need a sharpie marker, some paper, and a scanner able to scan 300dpi in color. That's it! If you have any particular questions, please ask here or email me at djbfontography at gmail dot com.

Depends on the final product you want. If you want a thick font, do a sharpie or a fine point. If you prefer less thick (almost pen like), use an ultra fine.

ya, i want pen like and i have a extra fine point sharpie. one more thing: how do i know if my scanner scans in at 300dpi?

I don't love my handwriting, but I do love having it available to me, and I think it makes my pages more personal!! Darcy does great work! :)

I don't think I want my handwriting...I just need Mandy's font- its beautiful!!

Darcy- I might so ahead and get mine but my writing is a mix of print and cursive so I'm not sure how to work that out?

It's only pretty cuz Darcy did it and because it took me like 30 mins to write the dang thing out.

You can always jot down a line or two, scan it, and email it to me to djbfontography at gmail dot com. Most folks get to use a print font for this. It's rare that it's ever connected up enough to have to go to a cursive ;)

And Mandy's is available in the store

My handwriting looks like a guy's handwriting, but I still love my handwriting font! I use it on every single layout :) Haha..but it's much worse in person, because I write unevenly!

I write like a guy too..and was told repeatedly this in high school (by my male English teacher that wrote like a girl :p )
