I have a really weird cat

My cat Zoey is walking through our house right now just meowing. She stops every few seconds looks around and meows. Then she comes up to where I am sitting looks up at me and meows. I swear it is like she is talking to me LOL. I do not know what she wants. I think since she is kinda really attached to my hubby she might just miss him because he is at work. I am not sure. She has food and water and a clean litter box and it is not like she is in pain at all more like she is looking for something LOL. Not really sure what is up with her this week because she did the same thing yesterday but calmed down once everyone got home
 
My cat does this a lot too. Mostly at 5:30 am if everyone is not out of bed he cries in the hallway! LOL! I'd say she's missing your DH too!
 
When my daughter goes to her dad's house, her cat will come into the living room, meow and just look at me. I'll be nice and pet her....LOL Yes, cats are weird.
 
Yup, she probably is missing your DH! Cats become very attached to the ones they love the best! We had a cat that loved to catch moles and bring them home, and my DH would always tell her what a good little hunter she was and give her lots of love for it. When he was killed she missed him so much and would go mole hunting every day....bringing home a half dozen or more (yes, we were overrun by moles, lol), setting them on the front porch waiting for him to come tell her how proud he was of her. It was kind of sad....

dont think so. she is not fixed but she was just in heat a few weeks ago. We had her appt to get fixed set up but my husband wasnt able to make it down there on the day it was scheduled and we have not rescheduled yet.

Most cats will go in heat every 2-4 weeks if they haven't mated, so she could be in heat again...sounds like it may be a combination of that and missing your DH.
 
it is possible. I did not realize they went into heat so often. I thought I had read soemwhere that they have about 4-5 heat cycles a year. In any event defenitely getting her fixed within the next two or three months. Im not to concerned about the possibility of pregnancy because she never gets outside and our inside cats are all females but I know that getting them fixed is good for their health.
