Ok just b/c I know there will be a ton of questions, comments, etc about the news in the newsletter this am..if you all would post them in this ONE thread they will be addressed :) I can't guarantee that numerous other threads wouldn't get lost so I think having them in 1 spot will be great!

For those that don't get the newsletter sign up!!! (you will have to sign up again after the site redesign)

Robin put some news in there this am about the site redesign, sweet rewards, challenges, and um..*sales* (in a round about way)

As there is no way to transfer customer information & order histories from one shopping cart to the next, please make sure you download all products in your recent orders as soon as possible and use all coupons and outstanding gift certificate balances before we close on Friday, November 8th. If you have any questions or need assistance with anything, please feel free to contact us.

Please Note: As we have lots of events and promotions scheduled throughout November & December, Sweet Rewards coupons earned in October will be eligible for use 12/8-12/12. Additionally, to give our SugarBabes a break during the busy holiday season, our regular challenge schedule & Sweet Rewards points will NOT be tracked in November & December. However, there will be lots of fun alternatives going on in our community forums & blog, so stop by and join in the fun so you dont miss out on a thing! Additionally, we are thrilled to announce that our challenges will be back full force January 1st with an amazing new format that will keep you inspired and earning rewards throughout the month, so stay tuned for more info soon!

I'm curious to know with the NEW X Shopping Cart system if I will still be able to pay with my Credit/Debit Card....For some reason my computer does not like Paypal and it keeps me from being able to purchase things at other Shops and sites IF they only accept payment by Paypal....

Almost positive Robin won't change the ability to use credit cards. I will make sure she sees the question though to address it

yep there WILL be a wishlist :) and I *believe* a little something special to go with it the day SSD opens back up..but that's just a *rumor* on that part

Kelly I didn't ignore you..but I have NO idea so I didn't even attempt to answer lol
 
aww, crap, why didn't I read the newsletter before going to work! Now I have to wait all day to find out all the info. :thumbdown: lol
 
No questions here hehehe, but I just wanted to say that I am so excited about the amazing and fun changes coming and you're all going to love it! SSD Rocks!!!!
 
Can someone forward me this weeks newsletter at jen @ jennilyndesigns dot com? I haven't received it for the 3rd week in a row even though I was pretty sure I was signed up already. All I did was change my e-mail addy here in the forum and also at the shoppe, then the newsletters stopped coming. :(
 
where do we go while the shop is closed? :w00t: *fingers crossed there will be a view all button* I love to view all instead of moving page to page to page.. I'm lazy like that :D
 
We can't use our October Sweet Rewards until December? Wow, that really throws my Christmas gift making off. Not sure what to do now. I had planned to pick up the stuff I needed during the beginning of November to finish off.

well..DSD is nov 1...and SSD rarely has sales..but pretty sure there MIGHT be one that day ;)

lmao...DUH! Meghan you so rock. You talked me into a kit (Kristin's Giggles) a few months ago and I haven't stopped using that kit and now you remind me when I am being forgetful. Must save money for DSD. :)
 
When it says "SSD will be down from 11/8-11/14"...does that mean the whole site? What am I gonna do for a week??
 
Yep, the whole site. I promise we're all as distraught about it as you are. LOL! I think the poor Babes are in denial. But it's gonna be SO awesome.

I've seen just a small peek of what the new site will look like, and I think you'll love it! And XCart ROCKS! So, this is going to be an amazing change that we're all totally excited about! :)
 
Do you know if we will have to reegister in the forums Meg? I'm thinking it will be so sad to lose post counts! LOL!
 
I'm in total denial in my need to visit here I will be looking for the site even though I know it'll be closed :o

Well, I'm TOTALLY bummed about the site being down for a whole week, but I understand why. I'm excited to see the changes!
 
Oh gosh a whole week with no SSD?? I am ok with the store closing for a week but not sure I can go a week without the forums LOL. Well I guess my house will certainly be cleaner ;-)

Seriously....what will I do for a week? I'm excited though. Y'all are going to have a bunch of crazed SSD girls on your hands that first day back!!!

I agree hahaha

was HOPING maybe Robin would leave the forum up while she worked on the cart changeover and only close a day for the new site design hehe..but not sure that can fly
