One of the many reasons...

...I love SSD. I have been window shopping at some other sites (not that I have more than 84 cents in my paypal...know any place having an 84 cent sale? :D ) and it's frustrating because so many of their kit "indexes" I guess you would call them are not 100% quality. Like I mean they are really grainy, and I have no way of telling what the quality of the actual elements will be. Do you know what I am talking about? What do you do when you see a kit that looks like it has great stuff in it, but the preview they have is not the best quality? Do you just take a gamble?

So I have to thank the SSD designers for always making sure everything is clean and well presented. It makes my life easier, lol.

The other frustrating thing is that the most recent company I was looking at, some of their previews are amazing, and some are "shatty" :D the inconsistancy is driving me nuts. lol.

Yep, it's like I said yesterday, Previews are a HUGE reason I will or wont buy a kit.
If you're going to spend time making an amazing kit, please make an equally amazing preview. There have been CT's that Ive been on that I could get the kit for free but it's got a crummy preview so I pass.

To me, a bad preview is just an example of how the whole kit is going to be. If the designer can't present the product well, why would i think the product itself will be any good?

With that said, I pretty much stopped shopping anywhere else. SSD has most everything I need and I don't even have to question the quality ever.

Shatty kit previews remake themselves when Chuck Norris surfs the Internet.

[Okay, not my best work, but still a little funny.]

A preview and CT layouts will be the decision maker after I see the elements and colors of the kit. and I like a preview of the papers and then a preview of the elements. I hate not being able to see the elements or papers because the other is crowding it in the preview.
