that I :wub:. But I've had them for 8 years, so they're a lot worse for the wear. Well I was complaining to DH last week that I needed to get some new ones.

Fast forward to today when I go check the bank account and see a charge for pin up shoes.com. My anniversary is this week so I immediately put two and two together and begin to get stressed out when I go LOOK at the site.

So when DH gets home from work today, I ask him about it and admit that I'm a bit stressed out about the place he bought the boots and he agrees to let me see them. This is what he picked out to replace my boots:





No, I am not kidding. And they're $70 with shipping. I couldn't help it, I laughed outloud. I asked him if he TRULY thought I would wear those (out of the bedroom) and he straight-faced said he didn't know how the heel compared to the boots I have now. These are pretty comparable to the boots I have now:



Though, admittedly there is a 1" platform on the ones I have now. Needless to say, I made him cancel the order. I'm not paying $70 for a pair of shoes that he'll only get to see me in in his wildest dreams LOL

Oh my those are most definitely ankle breakers! I'm sure for $70 you can find some much cuter (and more practical lol) boots than those!!
 
:w00t: WOW.. so what my hubby would do too. Schweeeet boots.. please post a pic of you in them when they arrive Traci. I'm dieing to know what they are like :D
 
Awww, that is seriously sweet of him to think to get you a new pair though!!! He's gotta get points for trying!
But-I'm rofl here!!! :D Only a man would order those!!! I don't know anyone who would actually wear those IRL, except someone I know who was a stripper.
 
Yeah, I can understand why he'd be a bit stressed out about that purchase, lol .... they are very "stylish" :w00t: It sounds like his heart is in the right place.
 
:D Oh, that's funny! But major points to him for trying. Plus, you now have $70 to spend on the boots of your choice. Have fun shopping!
 
WOW! Those are some serious boots. I won't say even the acronym of what we call them there things! ;) But yeah, take the money and run Traci!
