ISO: Strawberry Margarita Recipe.

Does anyone make their own strawberry margaritas -- and I don't mean from that weird red mix in a bottle. I mean like from real strawberries? Can it be done?

Anyone have a kick-ass recipe? It's my drink of choice but I only get them when we go out for mexican!
 
No, I wish I were having a party. But I LOVE strawberry margaritas and I'd love to have them at home, not just when we go out to a mexican restaurant (yes, I know other restaurants have them too!). Plus, my family is coming for the holidays and I want to find and perfect a recipe by then, preferably through a LOT of taste testing! :D
 
Thanks girls. I was hoping there might be one that someone could vouch for, but I guess I'll just have to try them all . . . . sigh. Someone's gotta do it. ;)
 
i know you could've google yourself, but i honestly have never made one homemade alcoholic beverage in my life.

someone...please help dawn. she really really really wants to get sloshed. :D

Dawn - wish I could help ya, but I'm an on the rocks margarita gal myself. Know you weren't looking for mixers, but the ones at they sell at Williams-Sonoma? Yummmmy.
