Isn't this a fun idea? http://familycrafts.about.com/gi/dy...heheart.net/artman/publish/article_1076.shtml. i think i'm going to do this!
I did this last year for dd, she was tinkerbell....Tink Trick or Teat Can
I've always wanted to alter a paint can - I need to find someplace locally that sells them!
You can buy clean empty paint cans of all sizes in the paint section of Home Depot. Probably Lowes too. Any hardware store I think.
I'm going to make matching one's for Sara's kidsJJ wants to be a pirate and I already have Kay's Pirate Ship collab, so it's perfect. Plus, I can get rid of some of the paint cans I bought and then never did anything with

paint cans are FUN to do - this one is my favorite of all times because of the boa around the top!!! It was a sleep over birthday can - had a pair of pajamas in the bottom, wrapped microwave popcorn, a gift card for a local movie rental place, and a bunch of little things like a fuzzy pen, notebook, nail polish etc.

Those are adorable LuAnn! I have to break out the pictures of the ones I once made too.
I'd love to see them!!! Seeing other projects always gives my creativity a boost!!!
I did some of these for teacher's gifts a few years ago. They are so easy!!!! I got some {free} paint can openers (I don't know what they are called, they're like a weird screwdriver tool with a loop on the end) from either HD or Lowes and tied them on to the handle to open them with.
