What techie gadget would you most like to have?

Can be scrapping related or not!

I mean, stuff like tablets, camera, iPod, new computer....what would you like most, if you could afford it? Anything you have your eye on?

For me, mine is Adobe Illustrator. I don't have any REAL need for it, but I just want to learn it, just because. LOL
 
Well, first a MacBook Pro. Then I'd have to get CS3 for it because CS2 doesn't work on OSX.

But, if I couldn't get that, lol...I'd actually like to buy a Kindle - it's like a little mini computer that you download books into and read them from it. I was never interested in them until I saw a girl on one of the planes on our way to California had one and it looked pretty neat! And the books are cheaper, lol.
 
well, I got my really nice camera all ready. (but why do they have to keep coming out with better ones every year? lol. I can't keep up!) I really want Lightroom and CS3. why do they have to cost so much???
 
my wish list is for

a DSLR

one of those instant temperature sensing guns Alton Brown uses to tell if his steaks are cooked properly

a Kindle (and about $200 to put books on it)
 
A DSLR Camera....a Bamboo tablet (don't really need it but looks fun!) umm i am not sure what else....
 
This bad boy right now...top of my list


and maybe a Canon 40D now that the 50D is out and they are a bit cheaper now lol
 
A very good DSLR camera, bamboo tablet, a lappie (don't have one so it'd be new, period,lol), CS3, an ipod and that kindle doesn't sound too bad either. Oh, and a dvd player that'd record,lol.
 
Lenses, lots of L series lenses LOL Maybe the 50D, but I have a 40D and it is awesome :)
A Mac loaded with the appropriate software :) (Like the entire CS3 suite, and Lightroom)
 
Some more lenses for my camera, external flash etc. I would love to get Lightroom, Flash, and Illustrator (have the trial now of Illustrator and love it!), and a new lappie.
 
I really really want, and actually NEED a laptop. Any laptop! lol. I have a part-time graphic design business, and between that and scrapping, I'm on the computer a LOT. Unfortunately, the only computer we have is in our office, so I have to either bring the kids in there with me or run in for a sec and hope to God they don't kill each other while I'm in there. A laptop that I could sit on the dining room table would help me sooo much. Unfortunately, we just can't afford it right now. :(
 
Because of a car accident settlement my DH got earlier in the year, we pretty much got all the techie stuff we wanted (DSLR, new laptop, 42" TV & stereo) but I think if I had the money, an iPhone would be cool, even though I don't really use our cell phone or MP3 player much...like not at all. LOL A really nice telescope would be nice too...I'd love to see the moon up close.

Girl if you're gonna dream big, dream BIG and go for a 3D or something! LOL! I hear the D700 that came out recently is pretty fantastic too ;)

Tech stuff you say.....
I don't really need anything (laptop and dslr I got like 4 months ago) but my ipod is a good 3 years old, so a new one of those would be sweet. But some new lenses for the camera would be sweet. And a speed light, and a tripod, and a remote.
 
A cell phone....LMAO...seriously.........
Not that we can't afford it, just never got around to getting one! :D
 
I really, really, really want a DSLR, with some lenses and an external flash. And if I am being obnoxious - I want my pink lappie instead of this blue one, so that I wouldn't have to share with hubby. lol
Oh, and a DVR, so if I miss my shows I won't cry.

But my really, really, really big want (although it's not techie) - a brand new vehicle that won't fall apart on me, and if it does, that it is covered under warranty! lol I have TWO broken down vehicles in front of my house, and one that just barely manages to get us from point A to B. ARGH!!
 
More lenses for my Nikon. Tons like thousands of dollars more of them and all the photography gear and, um...actually learn how to be a kick butt photographer.:p

Well, have no fear, you're not the last person without one. There are at least two of us. ;)

So what's on my list? Oh, not too much...LOL! Only:

* laptop
* CS3
* new scanner
* Illustrator
* tablet
* 18-200 mm lens
* Nikon D300 (love my D40x, but may as well go for it as long as I'm wishing...)
 
I would like a HP laptop with a 17" screen, the largest EHD I can find, a Canon Powershot XSi with several lenses...I guess thats all. Cant think of much else LOL. Out of all of those I want the Canon Powershot XSi the most!! Oh and a printer with the capabilities to print 12 x 12 and an endless supply of ink LOL

I would actually like some photography classes to learn how to really use my new camera. Lightroom would be cool. AND, I really want a Wii. lol
 
If money wasn't taken into consideration I'd like a new laptop. The one I have is my school/work laptop and it's painfully slow. It can't really cope with photoshop and iTunes at the same time or basically photoshop and anything else!

I'd also like to try a tablet - I'd like to be able to draw directly into photoshop and I *think* this would be able to do it.

I'm currently saving up for a new small camera, one that will fit in my jeans pocket, as my trusty Canon Ixus hasn't been the same since I knocked it off the kitchen table and since coming back from my holiday it's been getting really hot - it's on it's way out :(

I also think a Wii would be fun to play as a family, I like the look of the tennis and sporty stuff but we've never had a games console type thing so it's way down the list
 
Im saving up for a Wii for our family this Christmas.

Technologically gadget-ically speaking :D, all I need is a nice printer and an extra hard drive plus a macro lens and Im all gadgetically set, LOL :D
