So I had this idea as I was browsing through our newest FAB treat of the month gallery. I started at the end of her album and worked my way through to now and watched her progression as a scrapper.

I thought it would be fun to share our very first LO...whether it was your first in general or your first to SSD, and one from now that you are really proud of. :thumbup:

this was not only my first LO, it was the second thing I ever posted here.

Fun thread! I love to see how far everyone has come and just the raw talent of all you girls. I haven't seen a hideous first page yet.

There's quite a few pages from when I first started that I'm just itching to redo, lol. But it's all part of the process I guess, right?

This is my very first page when I went digi in May (oh the shadowing is quite terrible):

I still feel like such a noob sometimes, since I was so late to jump on the digi train.

You know what's really cool to see? For those that have been digiscrapping for several years now...it's so cool to see how far digi-scrapping as a whole has come. The products, the software, everything has just grown leaps and bounds.

Here is my first LO...it took me 5 days to do LOL. I actually don't mind it too much, but it has NO shadows at all. So before I print it, I will shadow it.

This was July 2007.

I love all your LO's Sarah but that last one is my all time favorite digi LO ever! I still have an idea floating in my head of how I want to lift this for my daughter I just haven't built up the courage to start because I know it will take me like a whole month to do the thing and I don't even want to think of all the shadowing.
 
So here's one of my first (I actually still really like it, but the shadowing's odd...). I didn't know how to save for web well, so this actually looks much worse than the real thing:
