Do you use quickpages?

I was looking through my stash and I have an entire folder of quickpages that I've collected over the years...they're so cute and fabulous but it never occurs to me to use them kwim?

I think I feel like it's just too easy and I want more of a challenge when I'm working on a layout...they're so cute though I should use them huh? lol

No, I never have...usually because they're too themey for me. I love the looks of them though. I've considered lifting them to make them work for me - I haven't done it yet, lol!

I think I used one once and it was for a challenge to use one! LOL! I need to use them more since I have a bunch collected from over the years!

I use them in a pinch when I need to put together an album as a gift or something like that, but I don't have any in the albums that I make for home...I'm not sure why...I have some awesome ones...

I've got alot of very nice ones, but I've only used them when I'm making a quick book for somebody, ie birthday gift for one of my stepdaughters.

I've never used one either. I always dl them when they're freebies and things and I have a ton of cute ones. It just never occurs to me to use them. lol

I have a bunch, including a new 20 page set, that I've collected over the years, but truthfully, nope, don't use them. In the 5 years I've been digiscrapping I may have used 5, but I doubt even that many.

Nope, I've never used a quickpage either. I've always just deleted them when they've come with something. Well I take that back..I've done two albums with Shabby Princess' Piece a cake albums, but that's it and those were for gifts. I like to put my own touch on the pages I scrap for our albums at home!!

I use quickpage album sets for doing themed gift albums and Shutterfly books, especially when I'm trying to get a book done in time to use a free coupon. Occasionally, I'll go through my QP folder and use a few QPs when I just want to get some pages done quickly but usually I never really get around to using individual QPs.

I dont use them either, though there are some really cute ones. I honestly prefer just to make the layouts myself, but maybe its cause of my OCD LOL

I have never used one either! LOL! As beautiful as they are, I like to do my own thing! I think they would be great for quick albums etc but I haven't done any of that kind of stuff either!

I don't think I ever have, but I've been tempted cause I've got some really cute ones! If I ever get overloaded with pictures and didn't think I could catch up, I'd probably use them. I'd definitely consider using them if I were in a pinch and trying to finish up a book for grandparents!

I don't use them for digital pages. I might be tempted to use them if I were to make a hybrid album -- I can't imagine all that gluing/cutting work AND making all the pages myself!

I do occasionally, if I need to do a quick gift album or get caught up on scrapping photos just before I print a book. There are some great ones here at SSD!

If by QP you mean the 8x8 or the 12x12 ones.. then... no, I don't use them. If you mean the albums.. that come w/ the kits from here.. then yes, I use those and adore them. :)

I used them ... really I consider buying/using QP's the same as buying kits. I don't have the time/desire to MAKE my kits and elements .... and there are times when I don't have the time to scrap a page but I NEED to scrap a picture. It is the only way that I was able to make an album for my cousin's graduation this summer. I used a variety of designers QP's that I bought, and got free and added a few special touches to the pages ... titles, journaling, quotes ect. I usually use pages that are my "Style" so that if I have scrapped a page it doesn't stand out like a sore thumb in the album LOL.

I also use the QP's for the hybrid albums as well. Those make such easy gifts .... all you do is drop thenresize/crop your photo and print.

Just think how many more memories you can scrap if you mix in some QP's. Do you think 20 yrs from now your kids are gonna say "I can't believe mom used a quickpage to scrap this picture?" No - I don't think so LOL

I feel like Quick Pages are for those non-scrappers that just want to make a shutterfly book. ;)
Oh but I love the little mini albums ones!!

oh, HOLD IT! I just remembered that I used one by Michelle Underwood when I was just starting out with digital. You know? I still really like that page!

Getting faster, but it still takes me too long on each page! So I am using a qp set for a couple of quick gifts and an album for the ILs - hard to improve upon Ranie O'Dell.

Overall, I think they are great for albums you need in a hurry - and love the 4x6, 5x7 size ones I can get printed almost anywhere within an hour.

I use them all the time. I don't post them in the galleries unless it is for a CT or for advertising purposes. But, yes, I do design & sell QPs. I appreciate all the time/effort that goes into the creation process. There are a lot of things you can do to make a QuickPage your own. Not only titling and journaling, but thanks to the magic wand tool you can recolor elements or even remove them completely! I did one page, where I used the magic wand tool to extract an element, put another element behind and then paste the original element back on. I am in this for the memory preservation and a bit of creativity. My kids would probably not care at all whether their photos were in a simple photo album or a QuickPage or an elaborate layout that took hours to create. QuickPages are as vital to my scrapbooks as my SSD kits!

I do if I'm really trying to finish up an album. I scrap in order, so sometimes when I really want to get my book ordered I'll throw some quick pages in there.

Ohmygosh--YES! Because that's the only thing I've used one for. And only once. And it was a freebie. LOL!

But those little chipboard albums or something to make a mini with--that I use.

No, I don't really use QP. I've made a couple, but I'm even having trouble using the most recent one I made.

Now, I have used the hybrid album QPs. In a pinch, they make for a quick, fabulous gift!

Yes, I've used them! They're great when I need something quick and have an adorable page already done that works with my photo/my style, that's A-OK with me. :) I've used several for albums too- if it's something I would have wanted to create on my own, but it's already done...that makes me happy. LOL I still love the creative process and making my own pages, though! Just depends on the situation.

Like this one, I totally love it!

I used one once, but changed it alot, and wished I had just started from scratch, but I like the process of picking papers and elements myself even if the quickpage probably would look better--lol
