My little kindergartener is being stubborn.

So I forgot my camera this morning when I took her. How the heck I managed that is beyond me. All I've been thinking about the last few days is that First Day of School page I was going to scrap, lol. Anyway, so I tried to get her to let me take a quick picture of her by our car with her backpack on once we got home, but she said she was tired. So I wait until after dinner, now she says " (sigh) Later." C'mon, kid! Humor your photo taking, scrapaholic mommy!!

Here's our kindergartener!

His mom, his maternal grandmother, Jeff, and I were ALL at the bus stop this morning as well as four other little boys and two other moms. He was completely unphased by the whole thing: riding the bus, going to school, etc. He just has no fear of anything.

I got the above shot when Jeff and I went over this afternoon to pick him up from the after school program. Since he's only in half day morning K, they have an afternoon/latchkey program that he'll be going to a couple days a week until his mom or Jeff can come get him.

The highlight of the day, for me, was when he was showing me the 'art' he made at AYS, which was a big piece of blue construction paper with various oceanic animal stickers on it, and he said he made it for me! Jeff was pretty impressed that I got the first paper from school and not Mommy or Daddy.

I took some photos at home, but then I forgot to bring my camera to the school with me when I dropped him off. I'm gonna trail him one of these days, though, and "recreate the scene"!

Well, my little one doesn't start till Monday, but I can tell you he is NOT happy about waking up early (he is a sleepyhead as mommy... LOL)
