Awww, what an adorable little thing! He reminds me of a black lab we used to have, but it was a girl and we named her Candy. Everyone has mentioned some good names so far... I like Rosco ;)
 
Aw! Y'all are great! I can't wait to get him this evening!!! So, we've come up w/4 names that we really like & will wait to actually name him after we've played w/him and see his personality a little bit! So, we've picked, Rugby, Riley (my fave), Bama (We are huge University of Alabama fans) & Cole! It's funny that someone suggested that as it is my mother's maiden name! But, I think we're gonna skip on that one b/c we might possibly use it for a son. I can't believe how many of y'all have said Jake! That won't work though b/c that's what we will definitely be calling our first son! DH's cousin was killed in a car accident by a drunk driver this past November at the age of 20. Since then, we've decided to name our first son after him! So, I'll let y'all know what we decide. Keep on posting suggestions though. Someone might post something we like better than those 3! Oh! & Jenny, I mentioned Baxter to DH before I even posted here, I loved it, he didn't like it! lol :)

i asked my kids what they thought his name was.

DS: Blackie
DD: Vanilla (:confused: :D)

Yeah, don't use potential kid name on pet. We used to have a cat named Sophie. Few years later I had DD and was like darn, I can't name her Sophie.
 
These are hillrious, Mimi & Stacey. Blackie & Black Doggie! For some reason, I don't think DH will go for them! lol

But I love the other names you picked. Although you should save Cole just in case you want to name a child that. I mean, I doubt you'll be naming a kid Bama (please don't) or Rugby (again, please don't). Let us know what you decide on and take LOTS of pics for us to goo-goo over!

Awwwwwww he's so sweet!! I have such a soft spot in my heart for beagles. I've had several and the smell soooo good! Okay no one read that! hahahaha!!
 
DH leaves in an hour to get him. It's a 45 minute drive from his work, then 1 1/2 hours back home! I don't want to wait that long!!! lol I went shopping today and bought and collar and leash and bed and food and a stuffed cat! lol :)
