Anyone interested in an SSD Fantasy Football League???

If there are still openings, I'd like to join in!! I got booted from my husbands fantasy league this year. He hosts a "family" league but we added some male family members so the woman gets the boot.

Huge Chiefs fan here!!!

Another HUGE PACKER fan here! DH grew up in WI and he's kind of rubbed off on me....Well, he and Brett, but Brett's gone....I feel so lost....:crying:
 
OK interested... but I swear, I think I'll be totally lost. I LOVE football, but I don't know the players all that well.

I know enough to get me into trouble and not enough to get me out of it with fantasy leagues,lol. But i'm all signed up and waiting to have fun with the gang here at SSD :thumbup:
 
OK, I'm game.

You know, Fall is when I miss home the absolute most! I SO miss football season and Fall in Seattle is so beautiful. sigh

Don't worry, Col. If I was forced to watch a sporting event, I would choose basketball or football. I could prolly sit through an entire game if I had the right company and snacks or if it was some kind of playoff with my alma mater and/or the Colts since that's my hometown now.

Just not my thing. So not into sports or being competitive. :p
 
I play FF in a league w. DH and his buddies every year. The single guys think I'm the coolest wife because

a) I let DH have sunday ticket
b) I know football
and c) I've kicked their butts the past 3 years! :)

Sign me up!
 
WOOT! That's awesome Steph! I'm the same way (although I've never done FF before), I know football and the guys all think it's awesome.

I really want sunday ticket, but Jordan is SUPER tight with money, so we don't have it. I HATE not being able to watch my team play. Of course Jordan lucks out because his boss is a huge steelers fan too and has sunday ticket. So we usually go over there to watch, lol. I'm not nearly as lucky.

BTW, I HATE the Ravens. HATE them. And what's usually on tv for me? Ravens. And Redskins. BLEGH!

My parents have sunday ticket AND the college package, cuz my mom is a huge football fanatic, lol.

LA~I'll still love you then. I'm sure I can move past this. ;)

Woot.. me too! We do a draft with our friends. Last year we did the yahoo draft but we usually have a big draft party and do it ourselves and fight over players.. so much fun.

I'd love to play, but do we actually have to pick players and stuff? Not sure I'm quite ready for that level of detail . . .

oh, and my 2 teams are the Giants (grew up there) and Green Bay (just love old fashioned football) but I'm kinda mad a Brett -- what's with the "I'm retiring" . . . "oh, wait, I'm not retiring" over and over and over?!

he has been pressured to give an answer on retirement for sooo long that i think he just jumped the gun w/his answer. he still has many good years ahead of him and i am so mad i could spit nails at green bay for treating him like they did. (he's been traded to the jets, you know!) screw aaron rogers. 2nd stringers have waited much longer than he has...ask steve young. ack! gb is on my list.

Dawn, you can just go with Yahoo's rankings and then it will draft for you.
 
Dawn, just do that auto draft, it's totally mindless :)

Lizzy, I think your team name can only be 20 characters.
 
I can't believe GB doesn't have Bret anymore. Poor guy's been raked over the coals lately.

Ok... I'm in now! :) I usually have live drafts and have never done auto-pick drafts, so that'll be new to me. Of course, soince there's no $ involved I'm not so worried about not having a live draft. DH and I get COMPETITIVE in our other league! :)

This is true unless you want to change your draft order. If you want to go with Yahoo's ranking, you do nothing. If you want to change yours, you need to do that soon. :)
