Help me choose...

A new haircut!

This is me now (or a few months ago, but it's pretty much the same)...

I love my hair long, but only when I have time to style it each morning and with three kids and a business to run, that just is not happening.

I'm adventurous with my hair because it grows VERY fast, so tell me, if you were me, what kind of cut would you get??? Keep in mind, I have thick hair, and it's straight (but not perfectly straight), it does this funky slight wave thing if I let it dry on it's own.

I go at 5pm, so you guys have until then to help me come up with something good!

I used to be a hairstylist until I became a SAHM...You would look great with an angled bob. A little longer in the front, razor cut for some movement and texture. Then you can always pull the front back for a dressier look too.

Ever thought of a short sorta bob? i used to have looooooooooong hair, and I chopped it off to donate to locks of love and ended up with a chin length cut. I LOVE it now :)

I have relatively thick hair too, and it's easy to maintain. When it's too short for a real ponytail, I pull the center pieces in front of my face back straight down the middle and hold with a clip. Looks good AND keeps it out of my face.

Plus if your hair grows fast like mine does, if you hate it, it'll grow out soon enough :)

I agree with the girls! You should totally try a bob. I actually need to do the same, but am just to cheap to go get it cut! :)

I'd do a bob too..maybe a little above the shoulders!

I have LONG hair myself..it's in a ponytail (or as my dh says--a knot) everyday lol..wish I was brave enough to cut it off

I was going to say the same thing! An angled bob with a nice stack in the back. I think that's SOOO cute.. and with your thick hair, it will look so pretty. I have that style right now and love it. My hair is wavy too and it takes me about 10 mins in the morning with a flat iron to get it nice and staight. Can't wait to see the results.

I think that you guys are definitely on the same wavelength as me, because that's what I was thinking too!

that's what i have and i love it, easy peasy. a little hot iron if you want it sleek. do it. :)

I agree with the girls, I think that would look great on you!!

You'll definately have to show us how it looks when you're done! I just cut mine off cause I never had time to do it either, and I'm so loving it!!!(ok, but my avi pic is not a good example of the cut, that was really a baaaad hair day...LOL-I usually do run the flat iron over it.)

Well Jac, I know you already saw my new do. LOL!

Here are the pictures I took with me.

Precisely what I was going to say! That's how my hair is now.

My hair is just like yours! It's really thick and mostly straight... but if I don't blow it dry, it gets a wave too! The hairstylists always use one of those thinning razors when they cut my hair it it feels really nice to get all that weight out (and keeps your bob from looking like it was done in the 90's...lol!).

Oh, forgot to mention that it seriously takes me 15 minutes to go from wet hair to styled! It used to take me 10 minutes to just blow dry my hair when it was long.

This is bizarre; I have basically no knowledge about hair styles, but I have basically the same kind of hair. So, I thought, what about a bob of some sort, because it's probably what I'd think of getting.

don't go in and tell them you want a bob cut, though, because you'll get a straight cut at chin length. made that mistake ONCE! :) i have the angled stacked cut & I LOVE it! It makes my hair so much easier to do. Mine has grown out about 4 months now and I am dying to go get it done again. My stylist moved to Chicago, though! And go for the stacked back. It makes a HUGE difference in the weight on your head. And it cuts down the styling time... like in HALF! Can't wait to see it!

I love the stacked back! It's SO cute. I never thought I'd ever have short hair, but got brave one day and just did it. I've never regretted it.

I loooove Posh's inverted bob sooooo much! I'm actually growing my hair out to have the same bob!

I think you'd look totally cute with Reece Witherspoon's hair cut from Sweet Home Alabama.

I used to get that haircut all the time! So cute! Actually brought in her photos from Sweet Home Alabama to the hairstylist! I only switched back to the bob because it takes extra work for me to get my hair to flip out like that...
