OMG. I watched this movie last night and it was so wonderful! everything from the scenery (the way their apartment was decorated, the Ireland scenes and the farm house, etc) to her clothes ..and lets not forget, HELLO Gerard Butler? I laughed, I cried , i wanted to watch it all over again immediately! I've been listening to the soundtrack today too and am totally in love. Has anyone else seen it? Did you LOVE it?

No, but now I am going to have to. I love tear jerkers and love stories. Guess that is why I like Nicholas Sparks books so much.

OMGosh! I LOVE that movie and I LOVE Gerry Butler! Isn't he delicious?

Check out my blinkage! LOL

We watched this the other night... I didn't even realize he was "the Phantom" until he was rocking out at the karaoke bar, and had a very similar expression to one he had in the other movie... man... he's HOT!

But yes, I LOVED this movie! I bawled my eyes out! Its definately going to be sitting on my shelf one day!

i have never laughed and cried so hard in one movie in all my life.
at one point in the movie jenny (lilcameronsmommy) actually leaned over and whispered in my ear, "you need to be medicated". LOL!!! that movie just got me. yes...beautiful scenery, beautiful people, beautiful story!! i could not imagine losing the ultimate love of my life! i felt like i could relate so much because dh and i have had so many of the same relationship qualities/arguments so it really hit home! totally a top 5 fave of all time for me!

Oh Nonnie I ADORE Nicholas Sparks. dang it one day I am going to meet that man...he lives about 40 minutes away from me..but anyway...if you love Nicky you would really love this movie. It was so touching and the story line seems a lot like something he would write.

and Paula......oh yea Ger is YUMMY! I want to watch it again..I love the way he talks and the Irish brogue is so perfect for him!

oh and you know I forgot........DENNY DUQUETTE is in it too...well okay so he's not Denny in this movie and I don't even know his real name, I just know he was Denny on Grey's and I adored him then too. If I couldnt' have Gerry , Denny would be a nice consolation prize! I LOVE the ending too..that they didn't just wrap it all up and have fall in love with "denny" (forgot his name from the movie...see I NEED to watch it again), but I liked that they showed you enough to know the potential was there, but didn't make it all nice and they lived happily ever after, cause as we all know, real life just ain't that way. But I liked that the promise was there.

I cried during most of that movie! I have no idea who Gerard Butler is (I mean, aside from being in that movie). The guy at the end was yummy (can't remember his real name). I have The Accidental Husband saved to my Netflix queue b/c of him.

I saw bits and pieces of it but listening to your ladies review it makes me want to run out and buy it immediatley!!

I haven't seen the movie yet, because I want to read the book first. But, my friends here told me it's one of their favorite movies, lol...and one of them was beside herself because she got to see Denny's butt (naked?). Mmmm...

Yes, this is one of my favorite movies though Kristin says I really need to read the book because the book ending is much different from the movie's.

I made BF watch this movie with me because the 15 minute argument at the beginning is exactly how we argue! *lol* Me --- Why don't you really say what you mean? You mean you hate me... Him --- Sometimes when I say things it means absolutely nothing.

ahahaha!! totally. i am a spaz like hilary swank too. it kills dh.

Well, I LOVED the book, and just had to see the movie. DH and I watched it together....I think I cried almost the whole time. I know it's just a movie, but my "what if" imagination tends to work overtime in movies like that...really makes you appreciate what you have. :)

I checked out the book today from the library.

(and put myself on the waitlist for the Twilight books)

I RedBoxed it a few weeks ago. I remember liking the movie, but it didn't stick with me like some movies do. So, that means it either hit too close to home and I am blocking it out OR I liked it but watched too many other movies that weekend. I think I got August Rush at the same time and that movie just blew me away!

I'll have to check it out.
I watched the Nanny Diaries the other day and I LOVED it! It stuck pretty close to the book and was just really a cute story.

LOL I just watched it again. I have a friend over and when I heard she hadn't seen it I ripped it out of the netflix sleeve and made her watch it. Even better the 2nd time around. Most movies don't do that to me!
