So what is everyone up to this weekend, anything fun?

We are planning to go to the aquarium tomorrow, and then not much else planned for the rest of the weekend (I'm sure scrapping at some point - no weekend is complete without scrapping LOL).

I'm at the ILs until tomorrow probably, I'm hoping to go home today because my laptop won't work, and I'm on s.l.o.w. FIL's computer. I can't scrap either.

It's my birthday tomorrow, so I'm hoping someone nice (are you reading Tony) will get me a cake. LOL

Working it at a car wash for my softball team...we are traveling to the Armed Forces World Softball tournament in Orlando in August so we are raising money to pay for the rental cars and food while we are there!

And signing my twin boys up for soccer for the first time!!

Tomorrow I am taking a huge exam in order to get certified to teach Math. A four hour math test...I am sooo dreading it. On Sunday, we are having dinner at my parents house to show of Disney pix...if they come from Snapfish in time!

YIKES 4 hour math test! I like math but boy that sounds like a nightmare. Good luck!

Not much, taking the kids to their swim lesson tomorrow. Since we were gone last weekend we have tons of cleaning/laundry/errands to do. Same old, same old...

Not a lot here... have to go get the cat's birth control pills, then pick up my kit at the not so "L"SS and then DH and I are going on an hour or so geocache hunt. Nothing too exciting.

My fun planned weekend? LOL! I get to work, both Saturday and Sunday. Woot! :D

(Actually, I'm really craving McD's breakfast, and since I work Saturday morning, I get to have some...yay).

We're heading to San Antonio in just a little bit to go visit Shamu tomorrow. LOL! I think that is probably enough fun for one weekend

I have to take the boys to 2 birthday parties tomorrow - a bowling party in the morning and a swimming party in the afternoon. We were invited to 3 but two of them just happened to be at the same time so I had to pick the one I would enjoy the most. LOL!

And cleaning, cleaning some more, oh, did I mention cleaning????? I didn't do it last weekend so the house is starting to look pretty bad.

Plus my BIL is moving in with us this weekend until the "short sale" is done on the place he is buying. Short sale my a$$.... I am sooooooooooo not looking forward to this. He gets on mine and DH's nerves after being over for an hour. Don't know how I'm going to make it the next couple of months.:blink::blink:

OHHHHHHHHHHH!!! I feel your pain -- BIL lived with us for nearly a year -- most of the time JOBLESS!!! Horrible times :(

But this weekend -- we are BROKE as our A/C crapped out on us and cost $300.00 to repair.

I have a little stashed back for SS Saturday (shhhhhh!!!)

Not doing much here, just hanging around the house most likely. We are in the no gas food etc boat too this week. Ah well, the joys of being on a budget LOL

Me and my daughter are in Seattle for the weekend with the ILs. We have plans on seeing Kung Fu Panda, going shopping at Target (theres not one in alaska ) and going to the Circus. We always have a good time at the ILs :)

I would love to see Space Chimps but I doubt we'll make it this weekend. We're going to a cantaloupe festival tomorrow. I have no idea what that will be like but it's free to get in, games for the kids, and I can practice shooting in RAW with my camera so I'm all for it LOL. do they have these fruit and plant type "festivals" in other parts of the world? Just curious. If so what are they?

We had a strawberry festival here a few weeks ago, I know there are others as well just not sure what they are. I do know there is some kind of fall festival (maybe pumpkin??) in about Oct.

My accomplishment of the weekend was putting together a four drawer dresser from Walmart BY MYSELF. It involved tools and everything. Okay, so Jeff put together one stinkin' drawer (can you tell I'm still annoyed w him over completely breaking his promise to help me put it together in time for tomorrow?!), but that doesn't count. I had to, like, make sure the drawer slides were straight and screw stuff in and everything. I AM WOMAN. HEAR ME ASSEMBLE.

Otherwise, my BFF is coming into town tomorrow, and it will be the first time she's seen my apartment since I moved in last November. She, her fiance, Jeff, and I will be getting dinner together & then doing something fun afterwards before they crash with me at Jeff's apartment.

Possibly the most exciting weekend ever here!!!!

It's my 41st birthday on Sunday. Know what we're doing?

Buying and installing a new TOILET!!!! yep, I get a new, whatever color & model is cheapest toilet for my birthday. And I get to help install it!!!

Which, I must admit, is a big improvement over Saturday, when we will be uninstalling the old toilet and unclogging the pipe.

Does my DH know how to show a girl a good time or what?

I grew up in San Jose, California. Every year down in Gilroy (about 30 minutes South of San Jose) around this time of year they have the Garlic festival. And ewww-eeee can you smell the garlic for miles and miles  All sorts of fun stuff to eat with garlic in it - including Garlic Ice Cream (although I don't recommend it :( )

eeek Nikki I FEEL your pain with the no air..ours went out on Wednesday and the man finally fixed it today!! Been soooooo hot!!

GL tomorrow on your test Aaron..I'm a math nerd...

OMG Stacey!! Happy early birthday..but omg i'm rolling

We are going swimming tomorrow (lucas' second time - we took him last weekend and he seemed to like it!) Sunday my hubby has to work overtime so not sure what we will do that day, probably not much of anything. I'm still not very brave to go out with lucas and lily by myself.. it all depends on lucas' mood.

Going yard sale-ing (big community one too!!!) to see what I can pick up to alter (LOL) or use for projects, then I have a family reunion this afternoon.

I have my cart here at the store loaded up and ready to purchase :)

UGH! Poor Meghan! It's horrible isn't it!!! It's just too hot to not have it -- even with my fan pointed right at me I was miserable! Of course - 98 degree air coming through the fan is so NOT refreshing!

I love math and I don't think I could handle a 4 hour test Aaron! Good luck!

Ummm, I didn't know there was birth control pills for cats?

Crappy Birthday, I am rolling here! LOL! Happy Birthday Stacey!

Congrats on the accomplishment LeeAndra! You go girl!

I'm going to spend a couple hours with a friend today. Both her boys have graduated from college and moved out, so it's a bit empty there for her. And to top it off, her dog got hit by a car yesterday and is in a cast :( .
