OMG. New Twilight move trailer!

EEEEKK!! I'm SO FREAKING psyched for this movie!! I'm going to go crazy between now and Dec. 12th!! I MUST make plans to go. i haven't been to a movie in a theater in a few years (no joke. we usually just wait til its out on dvd lol) but i'm going to make an exception for this one. even if i have to go alone, i'm going. i'll have to make arrangements in advance for babysitter(s) however, lol. I usually dont get this excited over movies, but since i'm so in love with these books, i just can't get enough!

OMG I can't wait for the movie to come out!! Of course it comes out on Kaylie's birthday so I probably won't get to see it right away, but DH already said he would take me to see it!! I just finished reading New Moon a lil bit ago and I'm getting ready to start Eclipse as soon as I get the kids to bed. I am absolutely hooked!
 
Hey, Sonja, it's the brand new one that just came out, not the teaser that's been out for a few weeks.
Does anyone else hate his eyebrows?
 
AHHHHH I can't believe it....why do they torture people this way...put previews out so early!!! It's the week of my birthday so I am MAKING someone take me!!! hehe
 
that was my first thought... ummm his eyebrows are too bushy! :)

My teen dd is protesting as she thinks the guy who is playing Edward is just not "hot" enough for what she and her friends envisioned :) LOL

He's hot as Cedric... they just make him a little uckier as Edward, so it makes no sense.
 
I'm not reading the books yet, because I always get let down when I see the movie...so I'm being good and waiting. But I'm sure I'll have a few more months to wait than you all do. :(

No! Don't do that. I heard in an interview with the director that some stuff they'll be leaving out and changing to better suit the big screen so you HAVE to read the books first.
I'm not really liking this trailer much though. I like the teaser better.

And Bryn, I'm SO with you on the eyebrows. It was the first thing I noticed. Edward is supposed to be hauntingly beautiful. This dude is not. I loved him as Cedric, but I'm not excited about him in this role.

I'm glad I'm not the only one Libby. He is SO not how I pictured Edward when I read the books.

This is the reason why I don't read the books first...I hate watching a movie and being let down because bits were left out or they sensationalized other bits.
 
you know, when i first saw who was playing Edward i kinda was wondering what they were thinking. But last night i looked up some pictures of him and he's starting to grow on me, lol. He's actually not a bad looking guy. And oddly enough, when i pictured Edward in my head, he kinda resembles what i imagined, lol. And i think since i have 'fallen' for Edwdard it has more to do with his personality than his looks. I love the way he takes care of Bella and practically worships the ground she walks on. its romantic and sweet the way he cares for her. No man in real life is like that, atleast not my guy (well, sometimes, but not all the time like Edward, lol)

I'm okay with the casting. Kristen is perfect as Bella. She's how i pictured her looking too, with the long dark hair. I can't wait. i'm almost finished with Eclipse but i'm trying to milk it until the new on comes out on Aug. 2nd. i don't think i'm going to make it, lol.
 
I looks great!! I bought Twilight on Tuesday and finished it off yesterday so today I'm off to Chapters to get the second one!! I have to say I'm pretty excited too!! The trailer looks awesome!! :thumbup:

Me too. But I don't think it's going to work. I'm on page 410/629 in Eclipse...I just spent 2 hours reading. I can't deal with having to wait til Aug 2 and I really am not going to be able to deal with the end of Breaking Dawn unless she wraps things up in a nice neat little bow to deliver to us.
I also agree about Rob Pattinson, too. He's not a "marble god" but he's growing on me and he has some sexy moments. IMO, who they cast as Jacob is WAY hotter than Rob Pattinson, though and that kinda sucks.
 
I'm not a fan of the guy they cast as Edward just from the trailer... I'm reading Twilight now and the Edward in my head is SO hot... ahhh...
But I've never seen this guy before. So what else has he been in? I saw Bryn mentioned him as Cedric? :confused: Gotta go read... going in just a sec!!!
 
I am very happy with the casting....I think he will do a fab job as Edward! And the girl playing Bella is perfect too...EXACTLY how I pictured her! I JUST finished Eclipse...ugh now I gotta wait a few weeks...oh well...I am having a harder time waiting for the movie!
 
Edward is supposed to be so beautiful you can hardly believe it -- this guy falls into the the "possibly not ugly from certain angles" category (and WTH is with the eyebrows?). I'm still not sure this won't ruin the books for me!
