Oh great...really just great...can you even imagine.
My wife was reading the article over my shoulder and she said that just cemented it...she is never doing laundry again.

OMG I wish there had been a warning for that story!!! That was horrible I want to turn off the computer and cry! I hate snakes- hate them! I'm so freaking scared of them pics even freak me out!

We had one living under our bath tub last summer. He came out one day while everyone was gone but me. He was HUGE. Bought some mothballs and put in that bathroom and he was gone. They hate that stuff (so do I really lol). We have snakes really bad in Southern Illinois though and living in the country doesn't help, so we see them a lot.

Ok, yea, I saw that on tv this morning and I about freaked out. I don't understand how that big a snake can fit in the water pipe! 8 ft. long??!

ok...so i don't know if y'all can grasp how TERRIFIED that i am of these things...we have them here...and they are all over...and we have had several in our yard and on our porch...so believe me when i say this..but i would have TOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOTALLy died..right there..that would have been IT for me..no more ashli EVAHhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh! My cousin ACTUALLY had one in her dryer..NICE! I am always SO deathly afraid of that...i make SURE that i close my dryer so one of those diabolic creatures doesn't crawl in through that little vent..but NOW the washing machine..oh NO! My little girl had one coiled up under her cozy coupe right after my DS was born..i was feeding him and she came banging on the door with her meaty little legs and her cute little onesie and said there was a SNAKE under her little car..her daddy went out there..and OH YES there definitley WAS a snake...in fact it was a water moccasin...just waiting to attack...and attack it did my husband...he luckily had the shovel when it went on its striking rampage........HOW did my little baby not get bit?! God only knows! so yeah..me and snakes..HATE THEM! all of them...cobras garter snakes..whatevah...they ALL make me want to hurt myself Getting away from them! sorry for the tangent... HATE SNAKES! hate hate hate hate hate!

yes, and i have heard them climbing up pipes and into potties...hello..i ALWAYS look before i plant my hiney down ALWAYS..is that a bit psycho!?
ugh..now i won't be able to stick my feet all the way in the covers..leg cramps HELLO..all because of SNAKES!

I don't know if the snake itself would be more scary, or the whole "OMG there's a snake in my washer!" surprise factor. Either way, I'd never do laundry again.

we have had black racers get into our house four times now. Once in the dirty clothes another two times under my kids beds andthen another time in a doorway all curled up. I didnt have my glasses or contacts on and stepped on it that time OMGosh I screamed so loud, took off running and wouldnt go back inside until my husband got home from work and checked every crevice in the house. In Florida they are on the move alot when it rains and that is when they came in our house everytime:-(
