Skorts Make Me Happy

Since Trinny and Susannah say that I can't wear shorts and I'm too short for capris... skorts it is! I now own three pair, and oh, I love them so. I look like a gurl from the outside, but really, I'm boyin' it with the secret shorts. Win-win for everyone!

They're like the Diet Coke of fashion.
 
I have had some in the past. I have a hard time finding ones I like. I am rocking the "walking shorts" look right now LOL. I tried a few bermuda's but they tend to be too long and go past my knees. Capris are a HUGE no for me since my legs are so stinking small. SO shorts it is :)
 
LOL! I don't think I've worn skorts since I was 10. Heheheh!. But I'm TALL so I have no problems with capris or bermuda shorts... ;)

I've gotten into skorts this year - as long as they are the full wrap around kind. Not the ones that look like a skirt from the front and shorts from the back. I like the ones that look like a skirt the whole way around & just have a pair of shorts under them. I found a denim one & love it. Id wear it all the time if I could.
 
Skorts...I didn't even know they sold those any more! I'm afraid I'm of the opinion that they're great for 5-year-olds, but that's about it...Definitely loving the walking short, though!
 
I'm only 5'4 but I'm all leg so I rock the capris and bermudas too woot!

I haven't had a skort since elementary school
 
no skorts for me. I'm around 5'10 so capris work well for me. and i just bought myself a cute little frayed denim skirt the other day. now i have to learn to act lilke a lady, lol. it's a little short but my mom always told me to flaunt what she gave me! Not that i dress slutty or anything, lol. eww.
 
*lol* Let's be clear. I don't mean the 1988 denim scooter which is the one like a fashion mullet: skirt in the front and shorts in the back.

I mean the 2008 skort that you'd never know was one unless you were wearing it yourself.

i am too short...but i rock the bermuda and walking shorts any chance i get :) anything that is available at walmart or the gap outlet is usually what i am wearing :)

**disclaimer**by rock them..i mean ok i wear them and they look well, who cares what they look like on me...they are comfy..right?!**
 
Oh man, when I moved out of home the skorts were the first thing to go. But I see they are coming back in now, maybe I will have to join the skort revolution.
 
What? I'm 5'2" and I'm not suppose to wear capris? They are my fashion must in the spring and summer!

I guess I wear what feels comfy for me! :)

me too! I'm just happy to find something that fits.

I was eyeing some skorts but I thought I'd feel like I was wearing double layers of clothes so I passed.

My 4yo DD is adorable in her skort. :)
 
I put off getting the skorts at first because I thought they would be too heavy, but after about 5 minutes, you no longer notice the extra material.

I love skirts but they don't work well with bending over with kids all the time. Skorts totally solve that problem. I've bee wearing capris for the past couple years under protest because I know I look unbalanced in them but i couldn't find anything else (I look even worse in burmuda shorts). I'm happy to have found the skorts finally. :)
 
I adore skorts, they are pretty much all I've worn for shorts for the last two or three years. I do have a few pairs of bermuda's and a few pairs of shorts and lots of capri's. I guess I didn't know you couldn't wear capri's if you were short (I'm 5'4") as I didn't think they looked that bad on me. n
