I uploaded my recent LO and then as I was looking a comment someone left and in a round about sorta way I think they were trying to tell me I spelled my title wrong. So please tell me how you spell "Glamed Up." As you can see I obviously thought it was spelled with 1 m instead of 2!

I just love it when things like this happen to me!!! I should be the most humble person in the world because I am always doing such dumb things.

I am the worlds worst speller so I guess if I am wrong then I will start to study a little harder on this!!

Thanks
Amanda

lol Yeah, it should be 2 m's! lol but, it's okay! English (including spelling) was my best subject in school and I spell my titles wrong every once in awhile too! We're all human! :)

Oh BOOOOOOHOOOOOO!! :(
I just wanna cry!!!!
Thanks for clearing it up for me girls!
Off to fix hopefully!!!!

I'm actually pretty sure "glammed" is not even a real word... I googled, "Glamed" and "glammed" and both came up.. sooooooooooooooooooooooo do what you want :D

Thanks Lauren. I googled it after I read your comment and saw where a makeover place was called "Glamed Up." That's the way I was meaning it so I think I will leave it alone! I didn't save it as a PSD file so I do not want to have to go back through all that. Surely my daughter won't hold it against me! And I am not worried about looking like an idiot in digi-land. I already do that on my own without misspelled words.

Amanda - Nothing you do scrap-wise is ever going to make you look like an idiot! Your galleries are beautiful!

Ok so after the really good point from Jennilyn I fixed it! Whew... the Lo finally has 2 m's!!! Thanks again!

Glad your issue was resolved ... I'm sure we've all been there a time or two! (and for the record I was thinking of blamed vs glamed too ;) )

Here comes the teacher in me: If you have a verb with one vowel and a consonent at the end, double the consonent when changing the tense. For example: stop -- stopped, clap -- clapped, drip -- dripped. Sorry for all the verbs ending with "p" ... they are the ones coming easily to mind, lol. It works with other letters too! Thinking, thinking ... pat -- patted. There! Thought of another example that didn't have an "-op" ending! YAY! With most rules there is the "except of course when ..." (exceptions to the rule) ... and there may be some with this rule but they are escaping my memory at this time. :D

Anyway, sorry for the mini-lesson, but it is one I have to remind myself of from time to time! Again, glad you were able to fix it! :)

phonetically...glamed does rhyme with flamed...but...we've all heard of poetic license which applies to all art...and you can spell it however you want it

I know I must drive some people absolutely crazy because I prefer to use lower case letters 95% of the time...even for proper nouns

Chiming in a bit too late here but I would not change it, I would have read it as you intended. Also, it just shows that none of us are perfect, it's OK to have a typo once in awhile. (this coming from someone who NEVER saves a psd file and has made lots of typos!) :D
