am I missing out? I don't think I've ever had this pizza? is it better than the other pizza chains (i.e., domino's, little caesar, pizza hut, COSTCO)?

what's your fave PJ pizza?
 
I actually don't like Papa John's.

In NY we order from a local place cuz it's awesomeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee and there's nothing like NY pizza.

And here, we used to order from Seasons, but now we buy the small crusts and make our own at home.
 
the two times we have had it, I didn't like it. Just wasn't my idea of pizza. Chain wise - I prefer Pizza Hut. I also love my hubby's home made. hehehee
 
I actually love Papa John's as my choice for delivery pizza..their bbq chicken pizza is soooo good..and I love plain cheese with their garlic dip sauce!

Mimi, do the costco employees greet you by name?
 
uh. their pizza is eh. Think colllege-broke-budget pizza. But their breadsticks and Garlic butter.... man. that's something dreams are made of!
 
LOVE them. I actually won't eat anything but PJ's unless I don't have a choice. I don't like Pizza Hut or anything else.
Papa Murphy's is ok, but really I only like their garlic chicken pizza there.
 
I would definitely choose Pizza Hut over PJ's but my DH really likes it because it comes with the garlic sauce so generally we get that. He likes The Works!
 
I love PJ's pizza! My favorite is the veggie! Better than any veggie I've had. Pizza Hut is my second fav pizza place!
 
We don't have PJs here, I am a Pizza Hut lover. But it reminds me of this:

I love love love me some papa's veggie with extra sauce and cheese hold the onions please. However I would like to add that it varys from place to place not sure why I guess it depends on who makes it. Like I don't like the one in down town lex. But love the one in downtown columbia oh and the new wheat bread yummy
 
Papa John's owner used to be an owner of Pizza Hut... but they split...
I like PJ's way better than Pizza Hut, it's not as greasy.

But then again... gestational diabetes = wheat crust/no sauce.

We love PJ's. We like it because it seems like it is not as greasy and the veggies are fresher and chunkier which we like. The garlic dipping sauce is awesome also.

Not much for Pizza Hut though...
 
I like Papa John's but it has been a long time since I had it ... college in fact ... think late 90's.

Have any of you ever heard of a Taco pizza from Pizza Hut?? I LOOOOOOOVE it, and am wondering if I'm the only one???

Eh Papa Johns is alright....I prefer Hungry Howies! Now that is heaven in a box!!! Butter Garlic Cheese crust is it!

is that the Mexican one they had like YEARS ago? I LOVED that pizza! so sad when i couldn't get it anymore.
 
Well, you know how *I* feel abt PJ's, Meems. :) I find Domino's and Pizza Hut to be too greasy, and PJ has the best crust even if you don't care for the rest of the pizza, so that would tip the scales for me (ha -- pun intended!) into getting it even if I didn't like the pizza part like I do.

Papa Murphy's is really good, though, but that's a different category of pizza for me since you have to cook it yourself. My fave frozen pizza is DiGiornio if you are just dying to know abt my whole pizza preference spectrum.
 
We dont have a PJs here but I have had them up at my in laws and thought they were okay. We do a lot of Papa Ginos here!
 
I prefer Little Caesar's myself, although let's be honest.. it's not really about the pizza for me. It's all abt the breadsticks.

I prefer a place here called Sutera's for pizza.

Mimi, I don't think Costco is a pizza chain. LOL
 
If I had to choose, I would pick Papa Johns over Pizza Hut, Little Caesars, and probably Dominos too. I like the Papa Johns garlic dipping sauce.
 
If we are sitting down to eat pizza I prefer Pizza Hut if we are getting it to go I prefer Papa Johns. I think it's better cold then Pizza Hut's pizza. Also I'm another lover of their garlic dipping sauce :wub:

If it's delivery, it's PJ's. If not, it's a local place called Pauls with this fantastic oregano dusted crust. Mmmmm.
 
I'm not crazy about PJs either, but I'm not a fan of any pizza chain, really. Hungry Howie's is the closest I get to loyalty to one brand.
 
I'm a bit of a pizza snob because my idea of pizza is Chicago pizza (which is THE best ever)...but I can handle the PJs; I do like their dipping sauce.

Aww, I sooo miss Steve's! In fact, I think I mention it every time we have pizza, lol. I'm not a huge Papa John's fan. I like their breadsticks but otherwise it's just ok for me. We usually either go to Xtreme Pizza or Papa Murphy's. Papa Murphy's has always been one of my favorite places but it is much harder to cook here with the high altitude. :thumbdown:
 
oh i love papa johns....it's better then pizza hut because it's not nearly as greasy. I can't stomache the little ceaser's pizza but i do heart their breadsticks (and papa johns) now papa murphy's is my fav! I LOVE thier cinnimon breadstick thingy lol.
