I am using my laptop cooler as my own personal fan. I just slide the laptop off and rest my head on it. I love multi-purpose items.
 
whiner! we had no AC when it was 120 out and the heat index was higher than that! and our room was UPSTAIRS above the KITCHEN!!!

It's 75 (humidex of 81) out right now and that is plenty warm for me! Get a bunch of fans and keep them all on you in the same room. LOL
 
I feel your pain...that's our current forecast as well..in fact, ours still says 97 :( and it's going on 6:30....last night it was still 90 at 11 pm!!!!

I just have to say that I love your avi!! Since I can't in good conscience vote for any of the boneheads campaigning right now, I plan on writing Ron Paul's name in on the ballot! LOL

its been hot here lately too. Right now it has cooled down. I just looked it up and it says 74 but we had a few showers and a little storm pass through so it cooled off. It was like 90 earlier and HOT. Supposed to have storms all week!
 
7:50pm. It's 88, feels like 95 and a humidity of 62%.

So apparently we skipped June and July and have gone right into August.:cursing:
 
Awww, that sucks La! It's hot as heck here too and it's totally exhausting to leave the house. I have to take my younger two out tomorrow because I have a doc's appt and I'm totally dreading it.
 
It finally cooled down here...we actually turned the air OFF it is so nice out.....It has also stopped raining for now but we are supposed to get more throughout the week!!! I hope it cools down for you soon La!!!

Yea cuz not only will my have been sitting in the parking lot baking, this office is COLD so I'm in JEANS. Gross. I HATE this kind of weather, and the worst, is that Baltimore summers are like this. Insanely high humidity. You walk outside and feel like you're suffocating the air is so thick.
