What's The Plan Today?

What are you all up to? The boards seem so quiet!

I've already scrapped a page, and am working on another 2-pager for the school album (that I may just turn into another set of Double Ups)...and I have a baby shower invitation to create, too...I should get on that, lol.

It's cold and rainy outside, so it's a great excuse to stay inside, bundle up, and play! :D
 
Ooh I can't even fathom cold weather right now. We're melting.

Yay for another 2 pager!

I'm hoping to get some scrapping done. My little bugga has had different ideas the past couple days.
 
I jogged this morning, then went and picked up a few groceries, then worked. The kids are just finishing up lunch, so I'm going to grab a shower, and move over to my laptop to scrap, I have a bunch of pages I want to get done!

It's a chilly day here too today, so we won't be playing outside this afternoon.
 
I'm exhausted. It was a long (but awesome) weekend. I'm hoping to be in bed by 9 tonight, lol.

Today is just work, and maybe trying to scrap a little. But mostly, I just want to sleep.
 
It is toooo hot here to think - I am going to try and scrap during Nap I am soooo behind!!!!!!! Right now it 95 with a heat index of 101 and its only 11am
 
I'm waiting to hear from my mother. She and JP are at a hotel about an hour south of here, she's supposed to call when they're leaving. Other than that, I'll be putting Devin on the bus for school in a bit, then enjoying some solitude before the masses descend, lol! Oh...I'm also making dinner for eight tonight. :huh:
 
Thankfully after our rain last night the temps have dropped, it was sweltering here yesterday and Sat. I am too cheap till turn the air on till July-so we were sweating...
I am working on my 52 Card Pick Up card right now...
 
It's cold and wet here too, and the forcast says it's gonna be like this all week long :-(

I have laundry and dishes that need washing, drying and to be put away. But I really want to scrap, I haven't in ages it seems. But we'll see if my 3 yr old will let me... lol. So far she's been happy just curled up on the couch with her blankie and some movies.
 
Well, I'm at work just reading the boards and checking out the awesome gallery uploads from this past weekend trying to leave some love! It's extremely HOT here too and it's just begun. I really hate July here because it's just stiffling and the humidity makes it that much worse.

I'm hoping to get some pics scanned in tonight for my big crop in VA in 2 weeks.

Is anyone else going the GASC in Chantilly, Va?
 
It's just plain nasty down here. We moved this past week, in the heat- so I have no desire to go outside anytime soon. LOL

I'll be unpacking some more and starting on the jack recipe album. Cooking lunch right now. Chicken rice casserole, string beans, potato salad, and whatever else I grab out of the cabinet :)

Oh yeah, weather details just in case La is reading. She is a weather nut too LOL
ICK it is 99 right now with a heat index of 104. And it's only 11:30

After dropping Kristen off at school, Kaylee and I went for a walk on the boardwalk then I did a half an hour on the Wii Fit this morning. I just put a new set of CU overlays into my store and now I'm surfing my favorite sites. :) Maybe I'll even blog today! :w00t:
 
Working... scrapping a little... melting! LOL!

I'm headed out to Target later though... I love Target!

You're somewhere close to me so i KNOW you are sweating it out today too! I hate the summers down here too. Makes me wish I was up north for once LOL. I still wanna go to the crop but I just forgot about it with moving and all. Need to start making plans. That is if we don't have family over here for the next million weekends. You know when you move people have to be nosey LOL. Crossing my fingers!
 
yes, the board has been a little neglected these past couple days! i suppose everyone had busy weekends. =) this morning i am at work putting in my 4 hours and then at 1, i get off. at 2 the kids and i (along with jenny and her crew) are headed to an amazing city park with a water feature. the kiddos are gonna splash around and have a good ole' time. then at some point today i have to get over to the market...we have NO food. unless you count tortilla chips, ketchup and granola bars as food. that's all for me, really. oh and i'm sure i'll get around to a page or two this evening.

I hope you can make it!! I'm so excited about the digi crops. I went to the CK one in Charlotte last year, but I felt like a freak with my laptop in that crowd of paper only scrappers and honestly got way too many negative comments about digi, LOL
 
I am prolly doing a page or two...I really have nothing planned...I need to go the the local community college sometime this week and sign up for classes!
 
I was a good girl and did my Yoga this morning....I need to clean, do laundry, blah, blah, blah........At least I accomplished the Yoga part. We are having a grad party this weekend for DS1 & my niece Ashley so I have a lot to do before Saturday----:confused: I need to scrap for my CT's and that is about all I will get done.
 
We had to drive an hour this morning for a follow up visit to an ENT about DS2. He has to have his tonsils out. :( Six weeks of allergy meds did nothing to shrink them & blood work came back showing he wasn't actually allergic to anything, so so much for that idea. Poor kid's tonsils are so huge it's a wonder he can even eat & breathe! He's not getting sick because of them but it is affecting his speech and his sleep. So as long as the insurance agrees it's necessary, he goes in Aug 6th for the surgery.

Then we went to Harris Teeter where I somehow screwed up a U-Check stand while weighing produce. They had to close it down and move me to another after the 4th time the thing locked up trying to weigh the eggplant.

Now we are home, the boys are playing Lego Indiana Jones, they have all the dinosaurs set up to watch them. :) I'm going to work on DH's gift for Father's Day adn late we might go swimming. But it's supposed to be 100, so we'll probably hide in the house.

Do your boys like Lego Indiana Jones? We rented Lego Star Wars this weekend, since Indiana Jones wasn't out yet here.
 
More job searching today... I applied for unemployment this morning. It's all conveniently online so you don't actually have to look anyone in the eye, but I still felt stupid.

Oh, and it's BF's 32nd birthday today! I called him at 8 to make sure I was the first person to wish him a happy birthday. I will go over later today to celebrate with cake with him, his son, his parents, and his grandmother. I heard rumors there might be chocolate cake... :)

I went through a huge scrapping spurt last week, so nothing from me this weekend. I've made a significant dent in my ACDSeeing, though.
 
Well Haley got out of school at 1140 so I sweat my butt off walking up there to get her but now I'm just sitting here in the air not going anywhere! With a temp of near 99 and a heat index in the triple digits I'm not doing nothing but scrapping!
 
Folded and put away clothes, did some schoolwork with my boys (I homeschool), currently waiting for DH to bring home lunch and then we are headed to a funeral in a few hours. We need to get a spare key made, get some milk and then I have a double-header softball game tonight. So it's a pretty busy day!
 
I went back to work today from maternity leave. My babies didn't even cry when I dropped them off at daycare (daycare happens to be in my building so they were just right down the hall thankfully)

I'm only working 1/2 days, 2 days a week in the office the rest a home at least til Fall..a compromise my boss and I could come up with w/out me quitting totally. I'll reevaluate it once school starts back up here.

Now I'm home and about to get a couple kids down for a nap!
 
I'm now looking at cars online. I'm going to have to buy one sooner rather than later, and that does not make me happy. I was hoping to hold out for a few more months. :(
 
I've been trying to stay away from my computer so I can get some cleaning done! LOL I've got one shower scrubbed down, one half done, and a toilet done. If I'd just keep up with it, it wouldn't require so much elbow grease to get it clean:)

My goal is to scrap one page today for one of the challenges and finish up both bathrooms!
 
oh i had high hopes for productivity today but am not doing so well. :thumbdown:

I decided I could focus better if I just went ahead and ordered my Big Bite so that I could stop thinking about it. :D

the house is a TOTAL sty. I have to clean. Really. Also we have a bday party to go to in an hour. So I guess I should exercise and shower first. cleaning will have to wait, alas.

I have some weird infection in my ear lobe. It's swollen and tender and twice the size of my other ear lobe. I'm on antibiotics and have to stay out of the sun. Good thing it is overcast today.
 
Just got home from the women's bible study at my church. I'm about to put the little one down for his nap and feed the big one. Then we're meeting Liz (lizzyfizzy) and her kids at a park to play in the water feature this afternoon. :) yay!!
 
Well it is over cast and grey here, great day to work with color and do some scrappin!!

I have watched my Young and the Restless, had my shower, and now I am sittin gdown to assemble the Bracket book I started last night

I'm at work. And I want to be home, in bed, where it's warm. I'm not happy about being here, really. LOL
 
I'm at my mom's place so I have limited internet access. I have been doing some scrapping though. Just posted 2 layouts and finished the digital part of the 52 Pickup card for the week. Already scavenged the blazing hot attic for some items I want to keep when she moves. Went and got a delicious Italian sub (we're talking true Italian deli meats, FRESH mozarella, etc) and ordered a frame for one of my mom's paintings. I'm ready for a nap now... darn dog barked me awake for the second time at 6:30 am and the sun rises here at 5:00 am - ugh!
Will probably scrap a little more, and then pick up my mom at her work and then take a shower - going out to dinner tonight and have some New England seafood - mmmm. Trying to get the things I can't get in Ohio while I can....
 
Freakin' work. :thumbdown::cursing::mad: I really should be a SAHM. Think my mortgage company would agree and just pay it for me?

Awww, Meg. At least they are close by and you have a fabulous schedule! I was supposed to work from home 3 days a week when I came back to work but he changed his mind and said I couldn't and on top of it I had to come back a MONTH EARLIER than originally agreed upon... it sucked!
