To guitar hero! We got a Wii with all the fixins this weekend for P's bday and I just LOVE it! I don't even really like video games, but guitar hero ROCKS! (pun intended :D
 
I have that on my list of games to get. I wanna get Rock Band too. I love the bowling though and am always sore after I play too long!! :D
 
We love our Rock Band (we have it on 360 though)!! Haven't done Guitar Hero yet! The best game on the Wii is Mario Kart!!! Woot woot!
 
Dude. Watch out for Claw Hand. It happens when I play for more than about 90 minutes. Which happens pretty much every single time because once I start playing I can never stop. It's insane.

I LOVE IT THOUGH! So much fun! Enjoy!!

Hahahahahaha yea when you look away, everything gets wavy and funky. Kinda like those picture things that when you stare at long enough another picture shows through. Although I was never good at those.....
 
I've beat almost all the songs on the beginner level so far and we've only had it since saturday night...eeeek!
 
Ah! You're making me want to play! But when I play, I get sucked in for the entire night and don't scrap! LOL!

SO fun though :D
 
LOL tell me about it...I DO have the papers done for my kit this week already though...so I might just turn it on... :P
 
LOL, we got it on Saturday night too (Guitar Hero, I mean...we've had our Wii for a month)! I love it! :D But I'm not very far into it, because Trev opened it while I was working on something on here and went into practice mode...I didn't even KNOW that there was a career mode until like 5 hours later. LOL! And he's been hogging it, too... :P

I keep finding things out by accident - like how to use star power. I have NO idea what I hit, but I went to hit the whammy bar and everything turned blue and glowing. Weird! LOL!

That's how you get super points Bree! On the right side of the screen there should be a meter of some sort. And when you can use star power, a message pops up on the screen and says "star power ready". To use it, you either bring the neck of the guitar up high (so that it's like vertical) or you can hit the select button (but I always hit "start" accidentally and totally screw myself up). Then you get double points for as long as it's a glowy. :)
 
Sadly, Traci, I totally suck at GH. I can't get my hands to do two different things at two different times. I just flail and stick out my tongue and hope for the best.
 
I want a Wii too but DH says NO!!!!! We have Guitar Hero for PS2 and I will not go near it for that exact reason!!! I got totally addicted to the stupid ATV game and would not stop until I broke all the records at a certain track......and I did and have not played since :)
 
I'm so uncoordinated with that game it's sad...We had a Wii party at work and I realized I'm a much better bowler than I am a rocker...
 
LOL, Traci...I'm the other way around. I can kick Trev's butt in bowling, but I can't box because of my elbow - every time I tried, I would hurt it worse. Even though the same elbow that is sore is the one I use to bowl, it doesn't really hurt when I'm bowling because I don't extend it as much.

You HAVE to try Mario & Sonic Olympic Games - that one is WAY too much fun. I haven't tried it multi-player, since any time I've played it, I was home by myself...but we're getting 2 more controllers here any day now and I want to take it somewhere to play with more people, lol!

Anyway, I was just playing GH and something is all screwed up...halfway through my duel with Slash, it just stopped and made this ear-piercing sound...I had to unplug the wii to get it to stop (I couldn't even turn the console off). I retried and it did it again, I think even in the same spot. Ugh. I've put it away for the night, lol.
 
We have GH and Rock Band and absolutely love them!! My hubby and I even made our own band on Rock Band. We have our own private jet to tour from city to city on... :) It is way too much fun and addicting!
 
I love the bowling too Melissa! We only have candle pin bowling around here so I love being able to bowl with the big balls anyway I can get it! LOL! And when I play it too long I can't move my arm for 2 days!

We have guitar hero for the PS2 and I've never tried it! I keep saying I want too but I'm afraid of having another thing take away my scrapping time! LOL!
 
I'm addicted to my guitar hero, I got it a few months ago.
beat the begginer level in one night LOL but I'll tell you that damn blue button is the beast! I had to take a month off from GH cause everytime i played I wanted to thow the damn thing at the screen.
Did you girls notice the bonus in the begginer section?? My dh can't do it he says it's too hard on his arm and fingers LOL I love it, I do it over and over.
I find i have an easier time doing fast songs then slow ones LOL
 
When I was dueling against Slash, he kept upping my difficulty and the blue buttons would show up. They'd TOTALLY screw me up, until I decided to just ignore them and keep going with the 3 buttons I knew, lol. Sure, made my points go down but at least I wasn't so distracted I was missing all the other notes too... :P
 
I can't do GH or Rock Band. We've rented both of them but I can't get my hands to keep up & coordinate with it. I have a heck of a time with the step aerobic part on WiiFit for the same reason. I'm always just ahead or just behind and on the wrong foot. :)

We mostly stick to racing games. Love Mario Kart! We're going to rent Super Mario Smash Brothers and Boom Blox this weekend.
 
you have no idea!!! i so rock at gh! i kick my husbands butt all the time and he is soooo good at video games. i'm totally rockin out to hard these days...that's right. you heard me. =)
 
Man I want a Wii so bad!!! My kids have Mario Karrt for their Nintendo DS's and they all love it. I think the Fit board would be super cool too
