Need Help Deciding--Sweet Keepsakes

I need to place an order ASAP for some albums, but I can't decide which ones to get!

I know I want to do a heart for my mom for her birthday, and I want to make Heather's Family album for my kiddos, but here are my 2 other subjects:

All about our family--just a general overview for people who come to our house so they can see who we are, our families in the States, etc

The places we've been--we've been overseas for 5 years now, and we've had some cool experiences. I want to make an album showing what our life was like in Indonesia, the things we've done here in Malaysia and the places we've traveled to in the region.

Anybody have any suggestions for me? I'd REALLY appreciate it!

I'd go with some of the bigger ones, to really have space to show off your pictures and journaling.
So I vote for a BG scallop or bracket, or the MR layered (cuz it's my fav). The MR 5x7 binder album coul dbe cute too, just like a book.

for those other two.. I'd prolly use one of the binder ones (not that I have ever done one lmao ) the Landscape Binder or.. the regular binder.. or even the little Card Box

What about the SSD premade albums? Know any that off the top of your head seem like they'd be great for my plans?

I'd suggest for the all about your family album the MR Banner album - and Dani's Family Roots quickpage album is perfect and it uses the Banner format.
For the places you've been, I'd pick the BG Luggage tag album - fits the theme perfectly. If you picked a quick page set, Misty Cato's Coffeehouse looks like it would be neutral enough to work with all sorts of exotic places.

Perhaps the Kensington Garden Bracket Album for your family album? It has a nice classy, yet homey feel to it.

Kellie, Im so doing Heather's Family Album and Dani's Root Kit. For your travels, I think the landscape binder would best, just make ur own from the template from the shoppe ;)

I have done a landscape binder album and I have to say it was HARD for me. I have realized that I HATE HATE HATE to scrap rectangle. So, consider your likes/dislikes for scrapping when you choose your albums, if you are scrapping from scratch instead of using quick pages. On the other hand, the heart album was perfect and I loved scrapping that! Don't forget the square binder, that would fit layouts you've already made, just smaller! :)

Question about these, can you get extra pages to go on the album's and how many pages do they have exactly?

I'd say most won't fit any extra pages- the rings or chains that hold them together are pretty much a perfect fit without room to add more.

I have only a few in front of me, so I can say the
landscape binder is 8 pages (16 layouts needed)
mini heart is 6 pages (12 layouts)
mini star is 6 pages (12 layouts)
square accordian is 6 pages (12 layouts)

I just finished the Basic Grey bracket album completely traditional no digi at all and I actually added about 3 pages to it. I used one of the pages as a template and traced it on some chipboard and cut them out myself. You can buy the clasps at Staples in variety packs for bigger ones if you want to add more pages and you can always add to a ball chain. I actually did not have to use a bigger clasp on my album after adding the pages I did tho.

I prefer using ribbons to the metal rings anyway. And then you could do like Pam did with however many more pages you wanted :)
