Here is what you do:

1. Download Live MSN: http://get.live.com/messenger/overview

and install it (may take a while)

2. Download this:
http://www.msgpluslive.net/download/

and install

3. Get this: http://screenshotsender.com/?page=download

and it should install itself.

Now in your MSN look for the 7th icon. It is the Live Plus icon. Click on it an choose preferences. Go to Scripts and make sure ScreenShot Sender is there and if not add it.

To send a screen shot open up a conversation with someone and look for the icon with the three blocks. Click on it and you will see options. THAT EASY!

I am still figuring out all the options but let me know if you have any questions! I will ask Karah since she is the one who showed me how. LOL!

Ok guys..when doing Screenshots with this..you send it and they have to click on a link to download it? is that right?

no- the screenshot is saved in a folder on your computer. The same as in Hello. It just does not show up on the screen.

i thought i saw somewhere where you could specify what kind of file you wanted it saved as

or was that another screenshot/im program I tried?

I'm trying to figure out if I can get the screenshot feature for my Mac version

Anyone on Macs doing this?

I looked into it, well googled... got the answer of NO.. lol.

Honestly though, I use skitch and its super quick to send screenshots. honest.

I don't know if other people had this problem, but when I try to change things in the preferences I have to hit "apply" and then "ok" - if I don't hit "apply" first, it won't save my changes.

it's MSN messenger/Windows Live Messenger - it's an IM program that's been around as long as I've had internet LOL. Windows Live Messenger is just the latest version. You can download those two add-ons to enable the tabbed chat window and the screenshot capabilities.

Okay, what the heck is skitch? :D Is this another IM, or is this something that works with msn?

OH lol - sorry - Amanda posted the links in the OP. It's just an add on to MSN messenger and then a script that goes along with that add on :)

I KNOW i saw somewhere at one point where you changed it so your images didn't save as .png and for the life of me I can't find it now. Anyone remember? I checked all through preferences, maybe I am just missing it but I don't see it. ARG!

I think you have to have a conversation open and then click on the 3 little blocks and change it there in the Preferences.

skitch is a screenshot program for mac, does automatic screenshots and then uploads them, so you don't have to save image as a jpg etc and then upload, so i find it alot quicker that way. I use yahoo im mostly and so i just give the link to the screenshot that I uploaded. :)

I get a 404 file not found error on the second link. I get it when I try to download direct from the site as well. Looks like they are having issues at the moment
