Why do you ask am I adding his name to the list .... because last night he went and got a new tattoo. No big deal right?? Well, it isn't the tattoo that I have a problem with, I have a problem with the fact that he didn't even think to call and say "Hey I am gonna go get my tattoo tonight". So when he called last night at 10pm and said he went and did it, I was stunned. Of course some of my shock may have also come from the fact that he had NO MONEY! Today (Friday) is his payday. At the beginning of the week he borrowed money from me to get him thru the week. Then yesterday afternoon he had the nerve to tell ME that I needed to stop spending and start saving $$ for the wedding. Um ... I have $500 saved already - he has NONE

I haven't had a chance to talk to him today until now because he went to work early and couldn't call on his lunch break. So he asks if he is gonna see me tonight and I may or may not have had some attitude in my response :p but it ends up bringing back up the fact that I am upset about last night "activity". I will spare you the boring fighting to get to the heart of why I am STILL pissed. I asked him who DID pay for it (since he obviously couldn't) .....

in what universe is this ok???? At not just any girl .... the two timing, cheating, on again off again girlfriend of his nephew .... a girl that won't even speak to me. :thumbdown: :thumbdown: :thumbdown:

SO I hung up on him ... now I am the one with the "issue" and I can call him when I am in a better mood.
 
OH MY---girl I am SOO sorry---SOOO SOOOO sorry...*UGH*...**HUGS** I know it wont make it any better but MEN---MEN MEN MEN--if I even could write what all mine has done and I'm married to him---all I can do is give u another set of **HUGS**....

his "excuse" is that she didn't pay for it .... he has to pay her back. Seriously? Still NOT ok.

But it is my issue ... I am just trying to find something to fight about. :unsure:

If some other guy bought you a piece of jewelry would that be ok? I THINK NOT! SAME THING!
 
I don't know - I haven't asked, I haven't seen it. I think it is one that he has been talking about getting for a while. Something like this:

i am gonna go out to dinner with my girlfriend instead of kicking his ass.

I told him it was NOT my problem. That he is the one that made a poor choice that has upset me and that HE needs to fix it. It won't just "go away" if he doesn't talk to me. I won't "cool down". He needs to figure out what he is going to do to fix this and that he can call me when he has figured out a way to do that.
 
even if he has to pay her back--doesn't he still owe you money?? I mean SERIOUSLY girl...**HUGS**...Have fun 2nite with the girl-friend :)

Oh my..... I would be SO livid! He definately gets the gold medal in stoopidness! And, yeah, to tell you that its "your issue" would be a little hard to take! Ugh! Have a drink (or 2) and enjoy your nite with your friend!

Oh, and yeah, that other suggestion of whether or not he would be okay with another guy buying you jewelry.... you should go get something nice (but not too pricey... just looks it!) and tell him you ran into an ex & he bought it for you ;).
 
Ok, so here's the thing.....

He's focusing on the fact that you're mad about the girl (which is totally justified)
But what he's obviously failing to realize is that he made a SERIES of poor choices that all culminates in you being furious with him.

First, he doesn't bother to mention ahead of time that he's going to get a tattoo. Not that you have to give him permission or anything, but when you are in a serious relationship with someone, you simply don't "DO" major things without at least telling them (preferably asking their opinion).

Secondly, he chose to do something that costs money when only days before he had to borrow money from you. Not to mention that he scolded you for being "irresponsible" with your spending. That is not only childish behavior on his part, but VERY disrespectful to you.

Thirdly, he let some girl (one who is obviously not someone you like him hanging out with) pay for his tattoo that he can't even afford. So, not only does he ow YOU money, but he owes this girl. Guess who he's going to pay back first? Probably her because you are his girlfriend.

And fourth, rather than owning up to his poor choices and admitting he made a mistake, he accuses YOU of being overly-sensitive and picking a fight. Like one of the other girls said.... he's playing stupid hoping he'll be able to convince you that you're overreacting.

You're not. You should be furious. He was irresponsible, inconsiderate, and downright disrespectful to you and your relationship.

Yeah, I don't get the whole 'I need to get a tattoo tonight even though I don't have money to pay for it' thing.

Different issue if it was, say, medicine for his inoperable brain tumor or groceries for his children... but a tattoo?! Like he needed that tonight b/c all the tattoo artists in the whole world are going to jump off a cliff tomorrow morning, like a pack of Harley-driving lemmings, and no one will ever be able to get a tattoo again.

Puhlease. Lame. And he knows it which is why he's being such a jackhole.
