Christmas Cards

I just finished ours tonight!

I am still working on mine. :p I meant to have it finished by BF but Thanksgiving plans kept me way too busy this year. Hopefully I can finish it this weekend!

I posted a few days ago asking and no one had done theirs yet. :( So I did mine with no inspiration. It's front and back.

Someone else posted a card in the black friday sneak thread and I totally copied her layout because I loved it so much! I'm sorry i dont' really know anybody's names yet, but I'm sure she'll recognize it, haha

Gorgeous stuff ladies! Here's mine. It'll be two sided, but I haven't decided what I'm putting on the back yet. It will either be a letter or a collage of photo 'outtakes'.

LOVE THEM!!! We haven't done ours yet. I'm hoping we can get a good picture of all of us so I can get them out.

Finally finished ours. A little more last-minute than usual... the late Thanksgiving threw me off!

I didn't have a chance to get good Christmas photos yet this year, so I stuck with some candid shots of Zach and I.

I'm seeing some BEAUTIFUL cards, ladies! (and getting ideas for future years).

I love seeing everyone's cards!

I liked the bonus with KCB's kit so much, I used them! Just what I need to ease back into scrapping after a loooooong hiatus! I just need to decide which one I want to use, leaning towards the darker one.

Keep 'em coming! I'm stuck! I know I want to have a chalkboard front and back luxe card (if I can decide on the proper shape for what I'm wanting) with word art and a family pic on the front (got that done) and updates on the 3 kiddos on the back. *ugh!

I like them both, but I think the darker one has more of a holiday feel

Wow! Such lovely and inspiring ideas! I haven't got our card done just yet, but will share here when I do!

These are all fabulous! I'm hoping to make mine soon. Last year I failed and ran out of time. :(
We are supposed to get some snow Thur/Fri so I might try and get some pictures outside. However the 5 degree high might make it more difficult...LOL! :)

These are all lovely. I won't be doing one with a picture. If I even mention a picture to DH he goes nuts. He hates being in pictures. :(

I'm so behind I haven't even started. There's a good chance I'm going to end up with a box of christmas cards from work. :(

Edit to add, where are yall printing? Any place that could get them done super quick?

I used Penny's Christmas Greetings for ours. I was waiting to get our photos back from the photographer b/c I had her do some by an evergreen for cards. But she said she won't have them done for another week or so. So I used one of her sneak peeks... :)

These are all so pretty! I love seeing everyone's cards.

Brittney, I ordered mine from Vistaprint. They are cheap and fast and I have always thought they looked great. I pay the upgrade and get double sided 5x7 on linen.

I wanted to use this as my card but I need to resize it to 5.125 x 7.35. Is there any way of doing this ( even if its jus a little ) so it will fit better in Costco's blank template without cutting or distorting it ? I have PSE 12

Paula, I added some directions to your other thread on how to resize this :) Let me know if you have any questions.

I just adore seeing everyone's cards!

Here is our card. Mine are 5x7's printed on double-sided metallic cardstock through WHCC. I adapted a page I made with KCB's kit :)

I printed mine at Walmart one hour photo. 25 5x7s with envelopes for $17.

I'm a bit irritated with our photographer - got our pics taken the first week in November and she said they would be ready in 2 weeks - 4 weeks later and no pics. Emailed her early last week and she said she would send me the download links... Nothing yet :( so yeah can't do our cards until we have pics!

I went pretty simple this year, but I just loved our pictures so I wanted them to stand out.

There was no way we were going to get the amazing perfect family photo this year with all that's been going on. But this seemed most appropriate and wrapped up our year best in some ways (moving to Florida).

I love the simple clean design of lots of Christmas cards I see and there are some awesome ones in this thread... yet somehow I can't keep from making mine more "scrapbook-y" LOL! But it's me :)
