RQOTD - What's on your wishlist for the holidays?

Curious minds want to know: What are you asking Santa for this year?

And for those of you that don't celebrate - what is on your wish list?

I'm trying to write mine and I'm drawing a blank.

Nothing - LOL.

My sister is getting me the movie Iron Man 3 so I can round out my Robert Downey, Jr. collection :D

I tell my son not to spend his money on me and to use it for gifts for his children.

Cheyanne will probably paint me a picture this year (she has her easel under wraps in her room and I can smell the oil paints ;) )

My parents are getting me a new slipcover for my couch and a pair of boots because I need new boots.

My wish list for when I get my taxes back includes:
New printer/scanner because mine bit the dust a few weeks ago
New tires for my car

Other than that I'm not in need of anything and can't think of much else :o

I'd love a gift certificate to Forever 21 ;)

Or new bedsheets and towels--I will never ever not love those :)

I'd like a food dehydratror, a fancy camera strap, a Starbucks card and maybe a new pretty scarf. :)

Orange queen sized sheets
White queen sized blanket
Dust buster
garage door combo lock
The Walking Dead graphic novels
vase
Disney & Lowes (I want new blinds in my house) gift cards

8.9" kindle fire HD
or maybe a Windows tablet
gift certificate to the yarn store in down
Amazon gift certs

there really isn't much.

I actually would like
a new cheap mixer (the handheld kind)
a new perfume (DH's choice)
Nook Color 8 " tablet (or 9 inch...we just got one to share and my hubby has taken it over...literally)
new spatulas
another fan of new bed sheets and towels....(love this kind of stuff)
**but the one thing I really want for Christmas is a Pandora Bracelet and charms....I have already told my daughter what size bracelet I wear (she was with me when we looked at them) and I already have a wishlist of the charms I want and the order I want them in :)
http://www.pandora.net/en-ca/pandora-club/wishlist **

really my best Chrismtas gift every year is seeing the faces of my kids when they come down the stairs!!!! I think I get just as excited as they do and it makes the whole holiday hustle and bustle worth it for me :)

I'd like a job that pays great and lets me take photos and scrap whenever I want. If that's not possible, a good year full of love and happiness - sorry to be cheesey, don't need anything else.

Um...
I want...

1. A BABY!! Probably a little too late for that though.. Maybe next year :) We may be getting (fostering or adopting) a 14 year old though...
2. Money...so we can save for item 1.
3. time off (and time share points) for weekend minitrips so we can...work...towards item 1 for next year :)

LOL...

I really can't think of much, eeks. I need some new skis, but I'll probably just buy them rather than waiting for the holidays. Most of all, I would just like to be surprised with things I wasn't expecting.

and infinity necklace with handstamped heart charms with mine and my husbands initials. Or maybe with my kids- I cant decide.
some silver hoop earrings
some yellow box flip flops
a glittery Texas longhorn watch
some cute Longhorn flip flops

I know I will get the new iphone for Christmas (thanks to Santa hubby)
There's a Filofax that I really want but the price is a bit steep for me
A christmas coffee mug from Starbucks
Gift certificate to my local scrapbook store

I think that's about it...

The only things I really want are gift cards for SSD or Kindle books and to buy the laptop I've been saving for (probably in the after Christmas sales).

The best present I'm going to get is actually a late anniversary present from my parents. When they're visiting over Christmas break, they're going to watch the kids so DH and I can go away overnight.

If I had to put together a wishlist, I'd also include:
a new non-spill travel mug
an M-edge case with a light for my Kindle
a gift card to go pick out some new necklaces or scarves
a good zoom lens
a tablet
a massage gift card

Oh girls I need your help on this one... my DH wants to get me a new computer. My ds wants to build it for me and he wants it to be a desk top. I want a laptop so I can sit next to my DH at night and scrap instead of another room. The kids are dying.... saying for the same price as the laptop I can get double the stuff and it will be much better than the laptop. Should I go with the 8 gigs, i5, and a terrabite harddrive, with a 27 inch screen or a laptop with 8 gigs, i5 with 16 inch screen and dedicated graphic card. Let's vote!! I want your opinion!

I honestly can't think of one thing I want. It is making family members crazy. All my stuff is BIG stuff and not really gift budget friendly. I want a couple of canon lenses but the cheapest one is $900.....don't think I will ask anyone for that! I think I am just going to ask for Amazon or B&H giftcards to go towards those purchases when I have enough pennies saved.

One thing I know I am getting......well, it is for steve and I from ourselves is a HUGE canvas wrap of our family portrait we just had done. I can't wait to pick out the picture and get it ordered!

Laptop! Sure, maybe you can get better stats for the same $ with a desktop. But from the stats you shared, that laptop will have no problem handling the demands of scrapping and it will fit the way you want to use it. My laptop is 3 years old, i5, 17 inch screen, 6 GB memory, dedicated graphics card, recently upgraded from 640 GB HD to 1 TB after a HD crash. I can run PS CS6 well. (I need a new laptop because the hinges are breaking and it's starting to show its age in other ways, but if it was holding together better I'd be perfectly happy to keep scrapping on this laptop.)

We don't do very expensive gifts in our family so I wished for:
an eggboiler
decorative pillows for my couch
new bed sheets
gift certificate to the cinema

ITA. Even if a desktop will make your coffee and walk the dog, it doesn't matter if you don't want to use it because it's in another room. The laptop will be more than adequate, and you'll be happier every single time you use it because you're where you want to be.

Cure for Alzheimer's. This is not meant as raining on anybody's parade... Just something I really wish for. Since that's not likely to happen, I guess peace of mind and good times with Mum are the answer.

:hugs:

Alzheimer's is such a hard thing to watch a loved one go through. I hope your Christmas wishes can come true, Adrianka!
