I keep thinking it's Friday

but its only Thursday night here. I've started back up for semester 2 which runs through to the end of October and I only go into university for 2 1/2 to 3 days a week because one of my courses is a flexi course - meaning out of 12 weeks I only go to tutorials three times, not sure how I am going to cope with the amount of required readings that this course needs as last semester I really didnt do a lot of the prescribed readings unless it was in one of the two textbooks that I had

Me too!! I've been checking the forums on and off ALL DAY waiting for the sneak peek thread to start. Wasn't till dinner time I realised it's Thursday today, not Friday! Hahaha! Silly girl.

I think because its school holidays I've lost track of days. That'll rectify itself next week when the kids go back to school.

I logged on last night hoping for the sneak peeks of the kit, only to be sadly disappointed when I remembered it was Wednesday! Well, I guess the designers and CT wouldn't have been happy if they had to rush their work. LOL.

Jennifer, I'd suggest for your flexible course that you treat it like any other regular course. If it were a regular course, how often would you meet for class lectures and how many times a week. Decide that, and then on your calendar diary, write in a regular time on the days you think it would meet each week for study. Then figure out how many hours would be expected of homework anyway and decide when you would be most likely to do those homework hours and put those on your calendar too. Write this all on your calendar and then commit to studying during the "lecture times" and during the "homework times." Even though it says it is flexible, this is what worked best when I took courses that met once a week or for my DH who has had to take an occasional online course. Don't get fooled into letting it be flexible for you. Figure that it is flexible for the university to offer it like this so that more students who couldn't fit it into their work or family schedules could take it.

Well, I woke up thinking today is Wednesday so... I'm even worse!

I have a hard time with required reading because I always get so tired!
