I posted in my local moms group that I was wondering how to keep Mason from rejecting one boob (because he's decided he only wants to nurse from the left side) and everyone was all "Don't worry, he's just being a silly toddler." Then one lady came in and said "That's a sign of breast cancer forming, you should go for a mammogram now." Um... no. lol You can only give me one link to a not even reputable source, I'm not running gung ho to my doctor. She then informed me that if I chose to die and leave my children motherless that's my choice.

Some people.... LOL

Declan got to where he preferred the left and only wanted that side. After fighting him for a while I just went with it. The right dried up and he continued to nurse from the left until he weaned a few months later. He is almost 8 and poor leftie is still a little on the saggy side as opposed to her sister. ;) It worked for me though as I preferred to sleep on my left side so it was easier for him to nurse at night and when he nursed on the left I could also be on the computer and still use the mouse with my right so it was all well and good. LOL

:D I told her if she could show me just ONE legitimate site talking about that I'd gladly go in to the doctor, but until then to please not count me as dead until I actually am. lol

Wow. That's kinda psycho.

Did you say that diagnosing people over the Internet means that you are insane and should see a doctor right now? :)

The nerve of some people. I love when people give me a dollar store diagnosis. I immediately respond, "i had no idea you went to medical school!"

whoa... why do people think they have the right to say stuff like that? It takes all kinds to make the world go around...
