This week he started feeling sick again. Since he had his gall bladder removed he has felt sick a lot from it. Well on top of that his lungs are getting bad again. He went to the ER for the nausea. They got that stabilized and sent him home but told him he needs to be seen by his pulmonologist very soon to call and make an appointment in a day or two max. His lungs did not sound that bad to me when he went to the hospital but overnight they got really bad. His lung dr wants him to come in to his office for an emergency appointment today but his HMO requires a referral for that. He switched primary care drs but has not been to his new primary care dr yet as his first appointment is coming up next week so they cannot do a referral. His old primary care dr is no longer treating him so they are saying they cannot do a referral either. Without the referral the appointment could easily cost several hundred dollars. So the only other alternative would be to admit him once again to the hospital to run the tests and get him breathing better. So I do not know what they are going to do with this. I guess if it comes down to it we will have to have him admitted to the hospital because we cannot afford the couple hundreds to have the tests done and have the checkup done in the lung dr's office. Somehow though we will get him treated I just need prayers that this time they will find the cause of the breathing issues...why he is getting out of breath so quickly/wheezing/coughing etc. It is getting pretty bad even with him being on steroids, two inhalers and a nebulizer.
