but, if you've got some to spare, could you send them my uncle's way? He's been battling cancer for about 2/3 years now. He's become paralyzed from the waist down for about 4 months now and things were good for awhile, but he was taken to the hospital on Sunday night. He's been very swollen, his blood count is low, he's in a lot of pain. They're discussing hospice now. So, if you've got some extra leftover, I'd appreciate any and all thoughts about him being out of pain, soon. He's been SO strong and such a positive person through all of this....and it just breaks my heart. :crying:

just a little update for everyone....
as of last night, he's been having a hard time with waking up. His pulse and oxygen levels are still ok but he's not very coherent. He was running a 103 fever yesterday.
We did go and visit him on Mother's Day, and I've decided that I will go see him again (probably tomorrow) but the girls won't go with me. Madelyn especially had a very hard time seeing him like that. I would rather them remember him as he used to be. They're still too little to have to deal with that (in my opinion). Thanks everyone. It really means more than you could ever know. :wub:
