Forced, forced, forced.

Ugh. I've not been happy with any of my pages all week. They all just seem so forced and bleh. Like they're missing their spark. It's not that I have no want or motivation. I'll be all "Woohoo! Lets scrap!" Then about half way through my page I just feel like it looks ugh, and then it all just seems to bleh.

Do you use templates? I'm a big fan of them. It helps me to have a basic visual of what the end result will look like.

Sorry, Trish. That's the pits. I spent pretty much most of 2012 forcing pages, so now that it flows, it's extra sweet for me. Hope you get back in the groove soon!

I feel ya......but when I get in a rut I go to a template and some pictures/kit I wan to scrap and usually that helps me alot!

When I have to start forcing things (which to me is a level worse than lost mojo) it's usually time to step away from the scrapping and do something different for a few days. Some other type of creative hobby, or reading, whatever. Usually when I come back to it after a little break the creativity is back again. :)

I reach for a template, too. If that doesn't work, I eat some candy. If that doesn't work, I don't care because I'm filled with candy.

Yeah for me it's all of the above. When it starts to feel forced, I either browse galleries, look for templates, step away, or power through it. Or take more photos.

I get like that as well, I just sit down with a cup of tea and have a browse through the galleries and even through the shoppe and some new kits always inspire me to want to scrap again!

Ohh I know that feeling. There are some great suggestions here- all of which I usually try to when I am like this. Lately, getting away from the computer and doing other things helps a lot. If I start browsing galleries, I get distracted and start reading blogs or other stuff online..lol!

Awww bummer Trish. I am a fan of a lot of things posted here. Stepping away usually does the trick for me. Especially if I take the camera with me... then I am excited about scrapping new photos. :)
Hope you work through it and something suggested here helps get you back on track!

I was there last week, and I think I'm partially still there. Usually a break works for me, but I don't claim it works for everyone. Worth a try maybe? ;-)
